looks like chessie didnt do a very good job keeping their locos clean. that SD40-2 on the end was dirty as hell.

This was a period of tremendous furloughs..I'd hope they wouldn't be so quick on cosmetics...some of them guys were gone for 5 years.

@GP30RDMT, oddly enough, N&W and Southern took good care of their locomotives in 1982, despite any furloughs they may have had. Chessie was known for poor maintenance, compared to other eastern railroads.

yeah and that seemed to spread into CSX, while the good habits of the other 2 spread into NS.

That transformer on a flatcar at 00:33 doesn't look very stable.

I think that they are rear body sections for pickup trucks.

Those are CASE IH 4-wheel drive and some 2-wheel drive tractors. Can't tell the model number.
