Unless I missed it in a comment, I'm surprised nobody hs mentioned you too are in the wrong re. the taxi red light incident. You could clearly see traffic still moving through the junction, and regardless if they are in the right or wrong, you are needlessly putting yourself in a position of danger. You rode on with a red+amber light, this means stop, do not pass through or start until green shows.

@ferr3t Patience might be a virtue, but when the roads in London are literally filled with drivers breaking the law WITH DANGEROUS CONSEQUENCES TO OTHER ROAD USERS, then it is incredibly hard to be consistently patient when they try to kill you on a daily basis. What happens is that you ride in ways that KEEP YOU SAFE, irrespective of the law - i.e. why should I obey the law when others disregard is dangerous to me. Who did I endanger when I rode on the pavement? No-one but me.

I have never harmed another person with my riding, but most importantly I have kept myself safe. When other road users show the same courtesy, so will I - but until that point it's a dog-eat-dog world out there.

And don't forget you DON'T RIDE A MOTORBIKE IN LONDON! So wtf do you really know??!

Firstly mate if you don't kno if your likely 100cc or 150cc scooter is a twin or a single, methinks you can't be a concerned and fully competent rider...not to say you aren't competent, just not all the way there.

Secondly, anyone who overtakes the rozzers is asking for it - and thirdly, you COULD have let those pedestrians go. I ride like a twat most of the time but still manage to give right of way when I can to peds - it makes them like us more.

ISPGA = Information, Postition, Speed, Gear, Acceleration. is the system Police and advanced riders use. You failed on information as observation is crap, Gear is irrelevant on a twist and go, although Engine Speed is important (this is different than road speed), Acceleration is all you seem to have mastered. My take on your skill base is you're poor to medium, still better than a lot of londoners, but stll dangerous.
