fabb!! Fantastic movie, I really enjoyed? watching this one - hopefully there is a sequel! Watch the movie online in great quality here: MOVIEPRINCESS[.]com
I'm from Jersey and I'm 42 - I can remember flooding like this when I was a kid. - It's caused by a combination of high tides and high winds (normally S.Westerly). It's got bugger all to do with global warming. This video is just scaremungering. I can also remember rainy summers and the odd time when we had snow in 6ft drifts! - plus the "hurricane" of course and a few earth tremors. - The title of this video is cobblers - nice track though! LOL
well I think because of the size of the waves and the wall being knocked down (happend one day after this video) with some flooding that all points to global warming, if you have ever seen Jersey its a beautiful island with usualy beautiful skys and lovely beaches
Highlands studying Media hense me having a camera at this moment, but I use the bus full of DeLa + Haughlia(sp) and w/e kids on it lol =P I am just lazy =]
@xccccatfellsx same god it was freaky was it by global warming or was it becuse it ws a leap year oooooo (haha well something weird dos happen on a leap year if u think about it)
haha my bus got hit by a wave at the front and it totally shut out we cuddnt get out cuz of the electrics lol.... feel sorry for ppl that were flooded ... i wuz luckly livin in st saviours .. but it has apparently been worse than that... in the 80's .. wasnt born but just heared frm skl that it was so bad that ppl on the ferrie came off with broken bones and backs
I'm over on the Island at the weekend, and my heart goes out to those affected by this - especially those who have been flooded out.I have friends who live at Beaumont who have just got away without being affected.
Being from Sheffield,I can appreciate what it is like to be flooded out-type in "Sheffield floods to see what happened last year to our town (where we had sea king helicopters airlifting people out).
May the spirit that makes your island an island to proud of bring normality soon.
i live in jersey too ^.^

Put it this way, if sea levels do rise your little island will not stand a chance.

I see. Jersey is that one part of the planet that never gets storms and her skies are always clear and sunny.
Funny, never heard of that before.

Was passing the avenue at about 6:55am, tide wasn't fully up but the waves were really coming up a hell of a lot.
Wish I was on the bus, 17 years living over here and I have never seen it as bad as this.
Excellent vid really shows the rare extreme side of weather in Jersey 5/5 and fave
