U all talk shit I have a s coupe mine is pulling 350 bhp iv done up all the engine and put a evo 6turbo on it with a custom manifold and a stainless steal strait true on it
if you own a civic you know that most civic owners that race a civic will go through an average of 2-3 engines in its life span, their engines are easy accessible from japan, since they send alot of used low mileage motors to the usa. hyundai has execellent reliability in their motors, but korea does not send us any used motors like japan does since they use alot of 1.6 and 2.0 diesel power motors, and they dont have a law like japan where they swap the engine out at 30,000 miles.
@mrhappytuzi this was true 10-15 years ago. Now it really is the other way around though. The evo10 is using a block that was designed by Hyundai when in the old days most good Korean cars were using Mitsubishi blocks. To be honest though, I don't care much for Mitsubishi's reliability so no big loss here.
for the skepticals about Hyundai potential check out " 9 second turbo hyundai" its from Puerto Rico . The car has the same 1.5 ,12 valve sohc engine from this car. then talk some smack.
Thats true , that car its know as "La Pulga" and it was driven by Misito R.I.P. , he still has the record for the" Fastest 1.5 FWD in the world" , and it was automatic . Too bad that car was retired after Misito died. R.I.P. Misito.

the Fast Scoupe ever recored is 259hp.
and i dont think it was that one. Supra average 3-4-500 bhp so i cant accept this as a battle

Supra is a wicked ride yes. But if it was stock and scoupe not. Then it is possible.
Ive seen dynos of scoupes 259hp 388Nm, it has 900-1000kg.
