I have one of these, great handling when you adjust everything right. Used to race it but stuff kept coming loose or falling off because of small design flaws. otherwise a blast to drive. motor has good power for stock too.
Another question: do most skate parks allow this? I have never been to a skate park and looks like fun if I can go in and do it.
@NTComputer86 I don't think they allow it. If nobody is there though then you should be fine. Most people just don't want rc cars around while they're skateboarding. I happened to go early so no one was there.
What adjustments did you make to the handling when you used to race it? A couple times it would barrel role when I practiced indoors on a track.
@nlsolja26 i adjusted the shocks so they were angled outwards, put 50wt oil all around. clipped the body to keep it from rubbing as much, raised that, put a bruhless in, but small stuff like the steering drag links and servo tape would come off during a race (our track has some pretty big jumps) if you landed hard you were likely to knock something loose if not break it.
are skateparks open or how does that work, or is there like an admission fee?
i love this video!

@NTComputer86 Cool thanks for sharing your adujustments. I may try that stuff next time I take it to the track.
Generally skateparks are free and owned by the city, so the hours are usually from sun up to sun down.
nlsolja26 1 year ago
@nlsolja26 be careful when u put 50wt oil in cuz my shocks kept popping open, they r tricky to fill.
i didnt know they were city owned, thats good to know, so you just show up when nobody is skating pretty much?

@rccarsrule1000 Yes it's lipo ready, but I would recommend changing the connection to Dean's on the battery and the ESC.
