you have great taste the gator is bounty hunter a survivalist and an expert tracker and trapper I wish there was an episode where he would team up with Baxter (the fly guy ) Stockman a perfect combo of brains and brawn
He was harder on the SNES version. When I faced him on the Genesis version... I thought "wtf!!? This guy is too easy!" And it's very unreal too... how can Leatherhead explode? He doesn't explode on the SNES version.. he just jumped off the train.
He exploded because the turtles agitated his Acid Reflux Disease.
But in all seriousness he was the first boss int he Genesis game, so of course he is going to be easier. Though in general the Genesis game is harder due to more enemies on screen and a few other things.
That doesn't say it's harder or easier, it just says it took longer. On Genesis you have more enemies on screen you have to deal with and you tend to get surrounded more easily. You tend to get hit more on the Genesis version than you do on the SNES version.
@delarge84 you're right bro, tmnt game on the genesis is soooo easy, and the bosses were just no challenge at all, and sometimes i wish they added more stages on the games, because 5 stages didn't make this that fun as easy as this game was
But have you thought about this gen? Xbox 360 get the version first and then they added things in the PS3 version to make it longer. Same with Genesis VS SNES. Turtles in Time was longer than Hyperstone Heist on Genesis. And In Time came out later.
SEGA Saturn version of Dead or Alive. Playstation version gets a new charachter called Ayane and released two years later.
SNES had better graphics and sound but was slower. Genesis had a faster chip but worser graphics and sound. Blu-ray VS DVD
Turtles in Time was a direct port of the Arcade game with some minor changes. Hyperstone Heist is a completely different game that just uses the same engine and music, and shares a few bosses.
And Genesis did not really have worse graphics and sound than SNES. Sound wise this game sounds closer to the arcade on Genesis than it does on SNES. And Genesis can have more onscreen sprites than the SNES and can do more layers of parallax scrolling than the SNES.
exactly if any company can port a game directly like the arcade it has to be the one and one Sega. Other companies result in slowdown sound ect but Sega always kept it true to its roots. The only reason Sega is out because people prefer popularity over a true good game system (Xbox,PS2) . Specially Xbox 360 ive never seen a system with so many problems 0 ring on disk tray problems connection adapter problems xboxlive gold account damn Bill Gates is rich enough
Strange indeed how all the bosses in this game explode. Maybe it's because all bosses in the Sonic games exploded as well - but then those were all machines. Other Genesis/Megadrive games have inexplicably exploding bosses (such as The Story of Thor).
@lmphk Lmao for real bro, you never underestime young skilled warriors because of their young age, they might be young but their ninja skills sure past the fighting level he's doing lol
The patterns always seem to be like hit hit hit dodge repeat. I played the Hyper stone heist but I lost the patience since the levels were extremely long, though I have beaten Turtles in time about a thousand times now and this seems to just be the genesis version of that almost. When I compare the two I notice that the Genesis is actually fairly closer to the arcade in some aspects which is pretty cool.
Yeah, I lost the "rhythm", I forgot that it's not good to use the last attack from the regular combo, the one where Don spins the bo, it gives Leatherhead a big opportunity to hit me.
I love this game! In fact I just played through it about a week ago. Too bad I didn't record it. I made it through without continuing on normal, so I should probably make it a little more challenging by trying the hard mode. But I do agree the bosses are fairly easy as the first ones seem to all have the same pattern. It's that annoying Asian guy that throws stuff at you as you're being berated by foot soldiers that really slows me down.
Well, Tatsu isn't that hard to me. Just try to ignore the foot soldiers and hit back the arrows he tries to throw at you when you get closer. He has a pretty simple pattern when you figure it out, but he's still quite dangerous.
love the hat

Leatherhead: You are too immature to hang with me
And that's why Don kicked his ass.

Weren't the turtles able to deflect this guy's knife? Or was it the monk in the later levels?

Harder? I don't know I beat it the first day I played it. 26 minutes it took me to beat it.
38 minutes with Turtles in Time.
SNES version is harder. Especially Slash on hard mode.

Somehow, "You are too immature to hang with me" doesn't sound quite right coming from Leatherhead.

Leatherhead should know better than to underestimate the ninja turtles because they are teenagers.
