  • Best cover around of the Jackie DeShannon hit,

  • I had no idea they covered this...or that they were still together in 1969! I had that album at 0:36. Played the hell out of it.

  • Good version of Jackie DeShannon's big hit.

  • I am sure this is not the usual lead singer Mike Smith singing lead on this song, for it is Lenny instead of Mike, and I believe although Lenny has a good voice, I think Mike Smiths' voice would have been much better, infact Mikes' singing voice is so great he would have made it a great great big international hit, thank you for posting this.

  • @Supremes2 It's definitely Mike.

  • Oh so beautiful song.....

  • I've never understood why this never went higher in the UK charts. It's a great song and the DC5 did a wonderful version.

  • I didn't forget them :P

  • Wonderful song and a great message for our troubled world. A Gem!

  • I'M AWATING FOR THE WORLD TO BE A BETTER PLACE !!!

SO!!! PUT A LITTLE LOVE IN !!!YOUR!!! HEART :-)

    MINE HAS IT ALREADY ,-)

  • @laggie24 I have love in my heart, yet so many people walk around like life owes them. Life is what you make it. Thank God for the music cuz what would be dancing around to? An ything.

  • Obtiene usted pensando en tiempos pasados por cosas ..... genial!

    Gracias por publicar. XD

  • great song

  • Never knew they did this song. Did a great job. Jackie DeShannon would be proud.

  • This is a great cover.

  • Theres rumours dave clark didnt do much of the drumming instead had session drummers in his skils wasnt up to scratch

  • "Dave wanted to produce and he couldn't be up in the box and down in the studio at the same time..he didn't want complicated fills he couldn't play on the live dates...I was on a lot of the hits but Dave did play on album tracks"-comments from legendary session player Bobby Graham. This is probably Dave as Bobby only played on DC5 songs until 1967.

  • Im not slagging the band off the as far as im concerned DC5 are the most underrated band of all time very few people remember them despite there success. Im not even from that generationg and im a fan.

  • Exact same here, and I couldn't agree more.

  • Being in the HOF means they aren't underrated.

    How about The Guess Who?

    How about the Moody Blues?

It's a disgrace those two groups aren't in.

But, yes, the DC5 totally deserve to be in the HOF. Not underrated anymore.

  • Pretty good song. Love it ****** TINA *******

  • DC's drumming is brilliant !

  • More than likely that's Bobby Graham on drums, not Dave.

  • I have heard of these rumours, don't spoil my illusions!!! :)

  • Yes, Jackie DeShannon definitely recorded this. Our graduating class of 1970 went to Disneyland and saw Jackie DeShannon perform this. Also saw Friends of Distinction, and Paul Revere and the Raiders! It was pretty exciting!! Thanks for sharing, Laura! Kathy

  • Oh Laura forgot all about this little Gem
