Jason was one bad motherf**ker. Anyone else notice they most likely used a different stunt actor in the suit for Jason than they did for Rocky (in the American "suited" footage)? The dude in the costume looks a lot buffer and bulkier than whoever was the stuntman in the Rocky suit. Makes sense since Jason was so much bigger than Rocky.

@seanmandence For Rocky it was actually the actor, for Jason's footage they used the actual footage from the original japanese version ZyuRanger and just got the actors to dub it over before they started using the actual actors to put the suit on and fight but that didn't happen till season three

Tommy is the best, he won more battles as leader and almost beat the entire team. Jason failed causing Tommy to lose his powers. Tommy also sacrificed more than any other ranger, fighting while his powers were limited. Not to mention Tommy always came to the rangers rescue as the last resort. Jason never led the team to any significant victories. Andros had the most significant victory he beat his nemesis and saved the universe. Tommy defeated Mondo in battle twice, Jason never beat Rita.

@alex050985 Jason didn't beat Rita in Doomsday but it was a huge victory. If he beat her she would have been gone. When Tommy beat Mondo, Louie Kaboom took over, then Divatox. When Jason beat Rita in Doomsday, she was still there, Zedd did a better job getting rid of her. If Jason was a better leader he would have done both, besides Zordon would had teleported Tommy out of danger. In Return of an Old Friend Tommy almost sacrificed his life to get back their power coins limited powers & all.

I love Jason!! He's totally the best. When he left, I cried. When he came back halfway through Zeo, I was overjoyed. I think he's cuter than all the other rangers. I joke to my boyfriend that Jason's my true love just to see him glare at the name. He defeated Trophy Monster in Missing Green himself then fought Goldar to save his fellow rangers. GO JASON!!

@roxyfoxy21 the only reason they ever made Tommy the new leader over Jason, was because they where writing off Jason, Zack and Trini. Because the actors who played jason, Zack and Trini where already gone, they decided to give Jason a background task with less lines, so they could be filled in by voice actors. If you watch the last eps before the three leave, you will see old stock footage where tommy wears green, the back of their heads and their faces are never visible (once due to sundown).
