Hold up....30% are victims are abuse. Now granted, that's a sickening stat in itself, but why are so many in shelters that were not abused? There's obviously something about many of them that makes them difficult to give an adequate home to - abused or not.
pittbulls are the most loving dogs I have ever had.. I adopted a part pit and lab. he looks more like a pit.. very strong dog but also the most loving dog I have ever had.. If you train them to be fighters then that is what they will be... Its the owners who are aggressive not the dog.. They are just like any other dog.. All they want is for you to love them and they just want to make you happy.. trainers are the problem.. maybe they should be taken to the humane society instead of the dog..

Congrats on your new baby. But I have to agree with stavenjpatrick. The grammar undermined your point. It's hard to take you seriously when the text looks like it was written by a child. And there's no need for name calling. You made a few mistakes, and when you post things on the internet, you're basically opening yourself to criticism. Anyways, besides the grammar, it was a pretty good video. It would look really professional if you had someone proof-read before you posted.
i cried when i saw this. me and my roommate own one pit bull and another dog a husky mix i adopted who was left abandon on the side of the road with open wounds in his face and emaciated.. i moved to a small town to find out while living there one of the worst cases of animal abuse was occurring 33 cases of dog neglect by them being left in 3 abandon trailers filled with dog waste during the winter. I miss my dogs soo much right now I cried very hard.
@Kilotonhex i will also say i have been bitten by brutus i know he didn't mean it both of our dogs have been scared due to storms and such they cowered as we tried to get them to shelter and bit. i don't fault them.
You know people are bitten by other breeds. My dog was attacked by a Boxer and a Boston Terrier and we knew a really mean Golden retriever that im sure would take someones face off! I have a chow and a chow mix. People are always going on about how they are mean and they bite, well my dogs have never bitten anyone or attacked someones dog for no reason. But we have had lots of dogs come at us and I dont recall it ever being a pit.
I pretty much cried this entire video and held my pitbull the entire time i watched this. I dont know what i would do without my furball of mush and snuggle.
I'm biased: not a pitbull or fightdog fan. Not after our dog was bitten twice by two separate pitbulls, out of the blue. One time when she was playing with another dog, the other time when she was heeling at my side. Unfortunately there are more irresponsible than responsible fight dog owners and as long as that's the case, I have no pity for fight dogs.

My Stafford has been lunged and attacked by a labrador on more than one occasion, and is scared of small fluffy dogs for the same reason...yet I don't hold those dog breeds accountable for a couple of bad behaved dogs....I blame the dogs irresponsible owners, not the dogs and deffinately not the breeds as a whole! Thankyou, this was beautiful and true. The monster is on the other end of the leash. I have two pits, on is a hundred and something pounds and we got him from a breeder and another one I saved. He was tied up to a tree, he has a scar around his nose that looks like they tied his mouth shut...he was aggressive and scared at first, now he is the sweetest thing. He loves kids and swimming. The both of them are like my kids...I could never hurt or get rid of them.

In the past 2 yrs since I& my son chose a pit bull as his pet. I have been more aware of owners& their pitbulls. I bet I have ran into about 25 people who have& love& care4 their pitbulls& what am I finding, Including my sons dog is that the owners luv the sweet personalities of their pitbulls. They are so so loving, obedient, humble, hugable, sweet, great w/ children& fun to be w/ &when U get them out to play: hiking in the park playing frizbee, throwing balls& sticks, camping, they're so fun.

Bless you for putting this video together for the Pittys. After I started watching . TV reality shows about pits I happened to have helped friends who were fostering 10 12-day-old pit mixes. They decided to keep fostering them, after they were weaned, till they found homes. Because of the horrendous stories and videos like yours I decided to adopt 2 of the pups-- Rocco and Zoe are smart, funny, loving and love to wrestle. They are a wonderful addition to the other 3 rescues! Keep advocating!

Educate your children that animal abuse is not okay. Teach them that a pet is a huge responsibility and one that you have until the day that pet leaves the world. Undo the myths, pit bulls do not have locking jaws. Contact your media. Each time you see an article with Pit bull in the head line, let the media know they are focusing on the wrong subject, put the focus on the owner. "Irresponsible dog owner's starving dog got out of the yard.." Let them know we will not tolerate it anymore.

I just sat here and cried through this whole thing, It is so very sad that PEOPLE are the cause and the poor pitt bulls have to suffer. I have 4 dogs, but all are small, none the less, they are all rescues. WE need to wise up people! humans are capable of such horrors. One way to lessen it is to spay or neuter more dogs until the shelters are almost empty
@DebbsHereNow Spay and Neuter all the dogs is not the solution. The spay neuter programs that are in place only reach the dogs that end up in the shelters. They do not focus on the professional breeders or the back yard breeders, the people who are breeding for test labs. If we spay neuter all the dogs, we will not have any in 20 years. The shelters will be empty then. People need to be responsible for their pets. Stop breeding irresponsibly.
Oh wow, That is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And heart breaking too, It had me in tears..... literally. We had a little girl here that was killed by a pitbull (Australia) and I argued with ALL my friends that it is not the DOG responsible but the owners that treat them badly and make them so scared that they simply attack at anyone that goes near them. I have two dogs and my Lab is more aggressive than any pitbul could be. She went through training. Like every dog should. Give them happy homes!!!!!

Poor dogs it's not the dogs fault it's the way u bring them up. I have had staffys and pitballs and both of them have been the best dog I could ever have. Ppl that treat dogs like that should have it done 2 them.
and this Rottweiler attacked him and his dog. So it isn't just putbulls and Staffys. We even have a law now that any dog that is listed as dangerous can be destroyed by local councils. I personally would rather a pitbull or staffy over a Rottweiler any day. They do make loving pets - we've had a beautiful staffy in the family for 10 years now
How could people treat animals like this. The ones that made me sad the most was the one held on the BBQ and the one who's eye was kicked out. They all made me sad but those two really stood out for me. Here in Australia we constantly see dog attacks in the media and it is always pitbulls & Staffys being blamed. I got 3 Pits and 2 Pit mixes and they are THE best dogs you can imagine. They are of course well socialized and yes they are trained as well. But I truly couldn't imagine life without my Pits. Thank you for posting this.

I used to have a pitbull she was sweet and caring and soo nice. She never hurt any one or got into fights with other dogs yet they said her was dangerous and a monster and took her away from mi .. The only reason pitbulls become aggressive is because the owner does not treat them well.For example if you neglect your pitbull it will become scared and not being social to people and thats when it will start getting out of control. I have 2 lovely pitbulls living with me they are so sweet and very gentle with kids why is that? I trained my dogs,to not bark,get out of control,or bite my dogs are my babies they mean the world . Pitbulls are the most beautiful dogs in the world (guaranteeing)
I hate these dogs, our friend who took very good care of her dog and fully trusted it was shocked when it ripped her 7 year old nieces face apart, poor girl- still so many more operations to go through and she'll never be the same. I don't think that any animal should be abused in any way but plase don't defend them and say they have a loving calm nature. Accept them as they are.

I know only one pitbull(I live in Poland we have them but not so many) and this dog is one of y favourite he is agility dog, and live with an border collie, Iv never seen him agressive , he is lovable , energetic dog. A very sick person had my dog before I adopted him, I don't understand what is wrong with people? If they want to light someone on fire, they should just light themselves on fire!! I strongly believe what any abuse an animal had to suffer, the abuser should have to experience too. They light their dog on fire... we light them on fire. They starve a dog... You get my point. This video legit made me cry! As a proud owner of a rescue pit bull who was used as bait for fighting this hits close to home. After being attacked beaten and burned she is still the sweetest dog I've ever met! This was a very touching video. I do not understand why humans behave this way and I am so glad I don't. It is each one of us taking a stand that will stop all animal abuse. We do need strict laws to protect this breed and all other animals.

Showed up at neighbors across the road. We live in the country. He had fresh scars on head, ears and legs (bait dog)..had to be treated for every worm by Vet. Offers from Vet staff who wanted him if we didnt cuz he was soooo sweet and gorgeous! We have GS, Rott/mix, Lab, Greyhound, mutt. He adores my husband and all strangers. Smartest sweetest dog we have ever had. He LOVES my other dogs. GS and him got it all worked out now..they're cool. Unbelievable how this dog has stolen my heart!
I'm trying to write this reply right now, and my hands are shaking almost too much to do it. I've met many pitbulls. Out of maybe, 100? I've seen two vicious ones. What ones were like that? The ones that were on chains in a backyard full of scrap metal and their necks were worn to sores from their collars.

Some people may think I'm being petty, but if you want to convey an important message, it's important to be professional about it. For, example, it's "graphic" not "graffic". It should be "Truth you're not told" ( "you're", not "your"). Similarly, when referring to ownership it's "their" not "there".
Sorry, but the editors of this video need to fix their grammar. It's the "Truth you're not told". "Your" is possessive and "you're" is an abbreviation of "you are", which is what they mean.
I brought my pitbull mix to the dog park one day, she's a rescue and LOVES playing with other dogs.. This little dog comes up to her and is jumping on her playfully, and my dog was playing back with her.. The woman and I are watching them play so cutely, she's smiling watching the dogs play... She says, "look at them playing, how cute! You're dog is so sweet, what kind of breed is she?", I tell her, "she's a Pitbull mix", without hesitation, she picks up her dog, and walks out of the dog park.
BTW the breeds of dogs much of this happens with changes, periodically, though I think pit bulls have suffered the worst abuse of any breed. In the past, though, Dobies and Rottweilers went through periods of being the 'tough dog of choice' for people who had no business having a dog at all. I hope responsible breeding & ownership, & the resulting reputation of pit bulls, changes for the better, very soon, as it has with other breeds.
What a powerful video - thanks for posting it. I'm a dog trainer, and some of the sweetest dogs I've met were pit bulls. Far too much aggression (in any breed) is the result of poor treatment, and often breeding specifically for aggression. Some 'macho types' and criminals like major drug dealers do this, and will feed their 'guard dogs' gunpowder which damages a dog's brain & can cause aggression. Pls do be cautious if you don't know the dog's history & breeding though. I love dogs <3

this is amazing. Doing rescue after Katrina I saw time and again Pittys that were in such bad shape, but were still loving and sweet, hoping for someone to finally be nice to them. It's "you're", the contraction of the words "you" and "are". "Neglect and abuse caused by THERE owners"? It's "their" owners, the possessive form, not "there" which indicates a physical location. I have owned this breed for 16 years. I can't anymore because Michael Bryant (who killed a bike messenger) says they are dangerous. in the 16 years and counting I have not had 1 incident or even a close call. They are dogs. I had a pit ball called Tasha she was gorgeous, meant the world to me got her for my 5th birthday she was put down because my neighbours said she was aggressive and was attacking them when they walk up the road. I've owned a pittbull several years back. He was the most loyal and caring dog to all my kids. Watching this video is heart wrenching no matter what breed.
My pit is only 3 weeks old and I have not even picked him up from the breeder yet. I watched this video and am still choked up. No dog is born bad but lot's of people make them that way. My wife and I have four dogs now and the new one makes 5, every-one of them is spoiled and a big suck. I am fortunate to have a farm with lot's of space and my dogs are with me all the time, they are family.
I got my love, Booker by pure accident. He was being held at an dog adoption event at one of our local shopping centers where I went shopping. He was just...there. Sitting quietly in his kennel. No one was looking at him because of his breed. I approached the kennel and one woman actually told me don't look at him he's a pitbull. I asked her pointblank, "The point is?..." no response. Stereotypical reaction from someone uneducated or influenced by the media and negative reports only. So sad
I love this video but just need to let everyone know that the numbers listed are statistics and not facts. These percentages vary per state. Some have higher, some have lower, death and adoption rates but regardless of any #....the point is is that these dogs are the single most abused, over bred, mistreated and misused breed in the nation, that is not opinion, that is fact. i have 2 pitbulls right now and weve owned a couple other breeds, pitbulls are by far the sweetest, most caring, loyal, loving and friendly animals we've ever had, theyre truly amazing. i have a few friends with small children ranging in ages 3months - 3 yrs and my dogs are so gentle with all of them, even when they may not be, lol...theyre VERY patient also, my old dog, Bear was a german shepard/chow mix, and while he was friendly he didnt have much patience for children. its not the breed!
@WildWindStables1 keep working with Casper... All pups are boisterous... it's how we handle that behavior that determines the kind of dog they can become. Lots of love, patience, and positive discipline with rewards for good behavior goes a long way. Pitties only want to please their owners.. They are the most loyal of breeds and will love you like no other.

My pittie is one that I've saved from death row not once, but twice... and she is the best dog ever... so loving and so forgiving.... not to mention that she LOVES a good squeaky toy.... IIRC the dog in the pic at 3:07 to 3:10 was attacked, tortured and killed out on a walk with it's owner by a hysterical mob during the breed ban hysteria in Germany a few years ago that was fueled by the sensational media in that country. :^(

In Australia I believe we have very tough laws for this breed and its "containment". BUT what about the mongrels who own them? They should never be allowed to own any animals (or have children either)!!!!!! Soo sad!
This sort of cruelty comes from a defective member of society whom you would NOT like to know!!!! My next door neighbour has been reported for doing some of these things to his animals (dogs included). These people are brought up with animal cruelty as examples of how to control.

pittbulls are the most loving dogs I have ever had.. I adopted a part pit and lab. he looks more like a pit.. very strong dog but also the most loving dog I have ever had.. If you train them to be fighters then that is what they will be... Its the owners who are aggressive not the dog.. They are just like any other dog.. All they want is for you to love them and they just want to make you happy.. trainers are the problem.. maybe they should be taken to the humane society instead of the dog..

i cried when i saw this. me and my roommate own one pit bull and another dog a husky mix i adopted who was left abandon on the side of the road with open wounds in his face and emaciated.. i moved to a small town to find out while living there one of the worst cases of animal abuse was occurring 33 cases of dog neglect by them being left in 3 abandon trailers filled with dog waste during the winter. I miss my dogs soo much right now I cried very hard.

You know people are bitten by other breeds. My dog was attacked by a Boxer and a Boston Terrier and we knew a really mean Golden retriever that im sure would take someones face off! I have a chow and a chow mix. People are always going on about how they are mean and they bite, well my dogs have never bitten anyone or attacked someones dog for no reason. But we have had lots of dogs come at us and I dont recall it ever being a pit.

I'm biased: not a pitbull or fightdog fan. Not after our dog was bitten twice by two separate pitbulls, out of the blue. One time when she was playing with another dog, the other time when she was heeling at my side. Unfortunately there are more irresponsible than responsible fight dog owners and as long as that's the case, I have no pity for fight dogs.

Thankyou, this was beautiful and true. The monster is on the other end of the leash. I have two pits, on is a hundred and something pounds and we got him from a breeder and another one I saved. He was tied up to a tree, he has a scar around his nose that looks like they tied his mouth shut...he was aggressive and scared at first, now he is the sweetest thing. He loves kids and swimming. The both of them are like my kids...I could never hurt or get rid of them.

I bet I have ran into about 25 people who have& love& care4 their pitbulls& what am I finding, Including my sons dog is that the owners luv the sweet personalities of their pitbulls. They are so so loving, obedient, humble, hugable, sweet, great w/ children& fun to be w/ &when U get them out to play: hiking in the park playing frizbee, throwing balls& sticks, camping, they're so fun.

Bless you for putting this video together for the Pittys. After I started watching . TV reality shows about pits I happened to have helped friends who were fostering 10 12-day-old pit mixes. They decided to keep fostering them, after they were weaned, till they found homes. Because of the horrendous stories and videos like yours I decided to adopt 2 of the pups-- Rocco and Zoe are smart, funny, loving and love to wrestle. They are a wonderful addition to the other 3 rescues! Keep advocating!

Educate your children that animal abuse is not okay. Teach them that a pet is a huge responsibility and one that you have until the day that pet leaves the world. Undo the myths, pit bulls do not have locking jaws. Contact your media. Each time you see an article with Pit bull in the head line, let the media know they are focusing on the wrong subject, put the focus on the owner. I have 4 dogs, but all are small, none the less, they are all rescues. WE need to wise up people! humans are capable of such horrors. They do not focus on the professional breeders or the back yard breeders, the people who are breeding for test labs. If we spay neuter all the dogs, we will not have any in 20 years. The shelters will be empty then. People need to be responsible for their pets. Stop breeding irresponsibly.

Oh wow, That is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And heart breaking too, It had me in tears..... literally. We had a little girl here that was killed by a pitbull (Australia) and I argued with ALL my friends that it is not the DOG responsible but the owners that treat them badly and make them so scared that they simply attack at anyone that goes near them. I have two dogs and my Lab is more aggressive than any pitbul could be. She went through training. Like every dog should. Give them happy homes!!!!!

and this Rottweiler attacked him and his dog. So it isn't just putbulls and Staffys. We even have a law now that any dog that is listed as dangerous can be destroyed by local councils. I personally would rather a pitbull or staffy over a Rottweiler any day. They do make loving pets - we've had a beautiful staffy in the family for 10 years now

How could people treat animals like this. The ones that made me sad the most was the one held on the BBQ and the one who's eye was kicked out. They all made me sad but those two really stood out for me. Here in Australia we constantly see dog attacks in the media and it is always pitbulls & Staffys being blamed. I got 3 Pits and 2 Pit mixes and they are THE best dogs you can imagine. They are of course well socialized and yes they are trained as well. But I truly couldn't imagine life without my Pits. Thank you for posting this.

The only reason pitbulls become aggressive is because the owner does not treat them well.For example if you neglect your pitbull it will become scared and not being social to people and thats when it will start getting out of control. I have 2 lovely pitbulls living with me they are so sweet and very gentle with kids why is that? I trained my dogs,to not bark,get out of control,or bite my dogs are my babies they mean the world . I know only one pitbull(I live in Poland we have them but not so many) and this dog is one of y favourite he is agility dog, and live with an border collie, Iv never seen him agressive , he is lovable , energetic dog. A very sick person had my dog before I adopted him, I don't understand what is wrong with people? If they want to light someone on fire, they should just light themselves on fire!! I strongly believe what any abuse an animal had to suffer, the abuser should have to experience too. They light their dog on fire... we light them on fire. They starve a dog... You get my point. Showed up at neighbors across the road. We live in the country. He had fresh scars on head, ears and legs (bait dog)..had to be treated for every worm by Vet. Offers from Vet staff who wanted him if we didnt cuz he was soooo sweet and gorgeous! We have GS, Rott/mix, Lab, Greyhound, mutt. He adores my husband and all strangers. Smartest sweetest dog we have ever had. He LOVES my other dogs. GS and him got it all worked out now..they're cool. Unbelievable how this dog has stolen my heart!

I'm trying to write this reply right now, and my hands are shaking almost too much to do it. I've met many pitbulls. Out of maybe, 100? I've seen two vicious ones. What ones were like that? The ones that were on chains in a backyard full of scrap metal and their necks were worn to sores from their collars.

Thank you for the video, I hope all of us can think about what is going on with our society. It is not ok to hurt any animal, all life has a right to live, and live well. I hope all those basters that abuse dogs will get locked down behind bars for a long long long time.

This was, hands-down, the BEST, most touching video on this subject that I've seen. I just wish the people who committed the crimes could be given the same treatment....or worse... Some people may think I'm being petty, but if you want to convey an important message, it's important to be professional about it. For, example, it's "graphic" not "graffic". It should be "Truth you're not told" ( "you're", not "your"). Similarly, when referring to ownership it's "their" not "there".

I brought my pitbull mix to the dog park one day, she's a rescue and LOVES playing with other dogs.. This little dog comes up to her and is jumping on her playfully, and my dog was playing back with her.. The woman and I are watching them play so cutely, she's smiling watching the dogs play... She says, "look at them playing, how cute! You're dog is so sweet, what kind of breed is she?", I tell her, "she's a Pitbull mix", without hesitation, she picks up her dog, and walks out of the dog park.

BTW the breeds of dogs much of this happens with changes, periodically, though I think pit bulls have suffered the worst abuse of any breed. In the past, though, Dobies and Rottweilers went through periods of being the 'tough dog of choice' for people who had no business having a dog at all. I hope responsible breeding & ownership, & the resulting reputation of pit bulls, changes for the better, very soon, as it has with other breeds.

What a powerful video - thanks for posting it. I'm a dog trainer, and some of the sweetest dogs I've met were pit bulls. Far too much aggression (in any breed) is the result of poor treatment, and often breeding specifically for aggression. Some 'macho types' and criminals like major drug dealers do this, and will feed their 'guard dogs' gunpowder which damages a dog's brain & can cause aggression. Pls do be cautious if you don't know the dog's history & breeding though. I love dogs <3

this is amazing. Doing rescue after Katrina I saw time and again Pittys that were in such bad shape, but were still loving and sweet, hoping for someone to finally be nice to them. The people that do this stuff are less than human, and need to be stopped so these dogs can finally get the rights they deserve. Fuck the spell check dude, by the way.

The info here is SO important and I wouldn't want anyone to miss anything because of this but, MIGOD, learn some basic English grammar. "The Truth YOUR Not Told"? It's "you're", the contraction of the words "you" and "are". "Neglect and abuse caused by THERE owners"? It's "their" owners, the possessive form, not "there" which indicates a physical location. "Im" should be "I'm", a contraction of "I" and "am". "There IS an estimated 3 million bites"? Should be "There ARE an estimated..."

I have owned this breed for 16 years. I can't anymore because Michael Bryant (who killed a bike messenger) says they are dangerous. in the 16 years and counting I have not had 1 incident or even a close call. They are dogs. Hell you can raise your child to be a racist, you can raise these amazing animals to be like your children. People, please don't believe what the Government or media want you to. Sometimes I am ashamed to be a Human Being!!!!!! Some Humans are so very CRUEL!!!!!!! Animals and babies rely on us for TLC, and are helpless to us, if we decide not to give them this care. What will it take to fix these people????? We have two dogs, we love them with all our hearts. So what gives us the right to hurt these innocent creatures. When they are protecting themselves from from abuse and they bite they are badly punished by death but why do humans get to live on?

This made me cry so badly! I can't stop! I couldn't watch it all. I hurt to much. I have a puppy pitbull i love him so much! He is the world to me. He is sweet and loving and even if he is sometimes over playful and rough he is still a puppy and learning. He is mine thats the thing i love him. He comes and wakes me up for school each day he is here (really my brothers) but i can't help it! Why could someone be so mean to such a cute animal or any living thing?Thats what i want to know! how?

I had a pit ball called Tasha she was gorgeous, meant the world to me got her for my 5th birthday she was put down because my neighbours said she was aggressive and was attacking them when they walk up the road. That dog meant the world to me, just wish people knew how passive and playful and friendly my baby was :'( R.I.P Tasha baby xx

My pit is only 3 weeks old and I have not even picked him up from the breeder yet. I watched this video and am still choked up. No dog is born bad but lot's of people make them that way. My wife and I have four dogs now and the new one makes 5, every-one of them is spoiled and a big suck. I am fortunate to have a farm with lot's of space and my dogs are with me all the time, they are family.

I got my love, Booker by pure accident. He was being held at an dog adoption event at one of our local shopping centers where I went shopping. He was just...there. Sitting quietly in his kennel. No one was looking at him because of his breed. I approached the kennel and one woman actually told me don't look at him he's a pitbull. I asked her pointblank, "The point is?..." no response. Stereotypical reaction from someone uneducated or influenced by the media and negative reports only. So sad

I love this video but just need to let everyone know that the numbers listed are statistics and not facts. These percentages vary per state. Some have higher, some have lower, death and adoption rates but regardless of any #....the point is is that these dogs are the single most abused, over bred, mistreated and misused breed in the nation, that is not opinion, that is fact. Please help!

i have 2 pitbulls right now and weve owned a couple other breeds, pitbulls are by far the sweetest, most caring, loyal, loving and friendly animals we've ever had, theyre truly amazing. i have a few friends with small children ranging in ages 3months - 3 yrs and my dogs are so gentle with all of them, even when they may not be, lol...theyre VERY patient also, my old dog, Bear was a german shepard/chow mix, and while he was friendly he didnt have much patience for children. its not the breed!

@WildWindStables1 keep working with Casper... All pups are boisterous... it's how we handle that behavior that determines the kind of dog they can become. Lots of love, patience, and positive discipline with rewards for good behavior goes a long way. Pitties only want to please their owners.. They are the most loyal of breeds and will love you like no other.

Shared this on my personal and cross posting profile on FB. It will take an army like no other to get the word out and change the opinion of this breed with the general public in this world. We all have to keep fighting for the good of this dog breed. My pittie is one that I've saved from death row not once, but twice... and she is the best dog ever... so loving and so forgiving.... not to mention that she LOVES a good squeaky toy.... Wow,,, now that is really vicious lol....

IIRC the dog in the pic at 3:07 to 3:10 was attacked, tortured and killed out on a walk with it's owner by a hysterical mob during the breed ban hysteria in Germany a few years ago that was fueled by the sensational media in that country. :^(

Thank you everyone for the comments. I share my home with two beautiful pitbulls and have rescued countless others. This video was very hard to make, however it keeps just one of these dogs from being hurt, starved, abused or even killed. It's worth it too me...thanks again.

In Australia I believe we have very tough laws for this breed and its "containment". BUT what about the mongrels who own them? They should never be allowed to own any animals (or have children either)!!!!!! Soo sad!
This sort of cruelty comes from a defective member of society whom you would NOT like to know!!!! My next door neighbour has been reported for doing some of these things to his animals (dogs included). These people are brought up with animal cruelty as examples of how to control.

All dogs could be made to kill. It is the owners that make the difference. We have a pitbull and she is so sweet. I think that all dog owners should have to pass a test or have a licenses to own. Our dogs are our family, too. Would you let anyone hurt your children. I think not.

This is a wonderfully enlightening and informative video. In order to be taken seriously by the legislators I'd like to share this with, I request you change the following grammar errors;
"Pitbulls; the truth you're not told."
There is a part where you say "there" about the pits, when you mean to say "their."
I look forward to sharing this video, once corrected ;0 with legislators proposing BSL.

This was such a sad video. I wished people would not hurt these beautiful animals. My pitbull is so loved and is not aggressive and he is such a loving dog. Spoiled is what he is but he will never be abused I can't understand why people do that that to these dogs!

This is one of the saddest videos I've seen about pit bulls. It speaks the truth about how this breed takes a bad rap for the bad things humans are capable of. BSL is the wrong way to go. Breeders! Scan potentials owners very very carefully! This breed shouldn't have to endure this anymore. They are a very loving and loyal breed.

So sad. This is the kind of thing that makes me lose faith in the general public. STOP following the bandwagon of fear. These dogs are SO smart and make great pets. I still don't understand what is wrong with someones BRAIN that allows them to think, or even GET OFF on abusing them by trying to set them on fire or making them bait dogs. So sad.
