  • does it naturally have a uilean pipe sound without the drone frequency sound playing in the background ?

  • @blisssanctuary Yeas - you might say so - only the tonal range of an octave and one note of course is lower than an uillean pipe chanter.

  • hey do uk where the best place is to buy this instrument?

  • @keda96 Guess why Iput our emailadress in the video. If you want to purchase one, just let me know. : )

    All the best,

    Nico

  • @Folkfriends ok thanks

  • It should be bawu, not "bahu"

  • @matouqin theres more than one name for it bahu, bawu, and bawo

  • @matouqin different names : bahu, bawu, bawo

  • Do you ever have to replace the reed on these?

  • @THEFINALHAZARD usually there´s no need for changing the reed. Just liek with an accoion you wouldn´t do that. Still it is possible. The plastic piece over the can be removed, to gain acces.

  • @THEFINALHAZARD Yes, you can contact datung music & arts for replace reeds. But, if you don't have any experience to do it, first time, it's hard to get right sound, maybe only noise. You need to make sure, the reed is moving well and no any touching points on the edge of the reed.

  • I've read about this strange reed-flute, and I always wondered what it sounds like. Now I know! Very cool sound.
