The hat you see Slash from Guns n Roses wearing most of the time is this hat of Marc's from The Slider album. Maybe must have got it at an auction?

Not heard this version of this classic before. I love the rockier version on Tanx.

@jezzyby47 Slash did indeed copy Marc's image from The Slider but it's not Marc's hat he's wearing. The hat from this shoot which was also in the movie Born To Boogie is still owned by Marc's brother Harry Feld.

@andytrex - Tanx for the info. I'd heard that Slash had bought it at a rock auction. A lot of Marc's stuff was stolen from his home whilst Gloria was still in hospital after the crash in 77, i just figured that this could have been one of those items. Didn't know Harry had it. Was speaking to him at the 30th anniversary - Wow it's the 35th next year.

@jezzyby47 It's hard to believe that its already 4 years since all the 30th Anniversary commemorations. Harry also has Marc's silver toe-capped shoes that he wore on the Marc Shows and on the cover of the Crimson Moon single sleeve. As for the people who ransacked Marc's house immediately after his death. Well, words fail me.
