You have to enter a code to nook. Go on Animal Crossing Community and look in the "GC Thread" in the ACGC subforum. It has the cheat code to get the Puffy Vest. (By the way, you enter it to nook by selecting "other stuff" or something and then selecting "enter code". It's not really cheating in my opinion, due to it only being a shirt that is otherwise unobtainable, but that's just me.)

how do you plant money trees

You have to dig up the 1,000 bells (from the daily glowing spot in the ground) and then put the amount of money you want to grow in it (100, 1000, 10000) and then wait.

Usually it doesn't work, but if you planted it in a good spot, it will and you'll get three times what you put in the ground.
