One thing i can say is the Newcastle have always had decent keepers.

Even Harper was a quality goalkeeper under Shay Given, and would always put in a quality Performance.

Now we have the likes of Forster and Krul both fighting over No.1.

@minq lulz, they're probably world class cos of the shooting practice... as in, newcastle has a history of having shocking defence, so the goalkeepers are used to having several shots in a game, so there keepers learn well ... fraser forster is notably good too, not sure if he is on loan or still at the club idk ?

I'm afalkirk fan and he has played amazining this season. I am also a goalkeeper and his technique is really good, I think buffon is the best but Krul could be as good. However he saved a penalty against aberdeen this season and in doing so dislocated his shoulder which was gutting for everyone, great save though. As long as he recovers he sould be number one at newcastle, because more physicaly imposing than given and great hands on cross balls, I mean really great handling skills.
