@steute2011 Problem with USS Liberty is that it happened by mistake, but on 9/11 they INTENDED to kill as many Americans, just like you. I can see that you are very passionate about what going on there in Israel, because you live there. I understand and sympathize with the people of Israel, as I realize they too are suffering in this conflict. Believe it or not, I happen to be very fond of Jewish people...my wife is Jewish! I am also not Muslim, but rather Irish / Puerto Rican. Weird, I know!

@YairTzi What I am concerned about is the treatment of Arab Palestinian civilians, who are suffering immensely under both the Hamas terror and occupation / with all it's ugly affects. It seems as though they are being punished collectively for the actions of Hamas and other like groups. I do not believe this is humane. I hold the Jewish people to a higher standard, as I am sure you do. So please understand that I am simply, as you guys might call me in Israel these days, "A LEFTIST".

I can't even imagine. Through time, the Jeweish people have suffered SO much, with the holocaust being one of the most important event - Israel is the only place where we are safe.

@YairTzi I agree that the Holocaust was the most important event for the Jewish people and that is one of the reasons I hold them to a higher standard. Given what they have been through, I would think that they would be the last people are earth to collectively punish a population. When I hear you say that "they are all the same", I help but think of Hitler telling the Germans the same thing about Jews and using that kind of thinking to justify his genocidal goals.
