  • Happy birthday evan scott perry. rip

  • I just watched the documentary on HBO, he was such a smart and handsome young man, I am so sorry for your loss.

  • Where did his depression come from?

  • The sadness this documentary made me feel was too overwhelming. I admit, I cried... alot... I just keep asking myself, "How could such a beautiful person feel so hopeless that they felt their only option was to end their life....... "

  • I just finished Boy, Interrupted and it made me cry. He was such a beautiful boy, he would have been my age today. It is really sad when someone take's their life.. such a tragedy. He seemed to have a very bright future. RIP Evan. God bless.

  • this story is sooo sad...that documentary about him (Boy Interrupted) was soooooo sad aswell...i cried :'(

  • that poor family.

  • What an audacious documentary: I feel for Evan's family, and their decision to document his life, from birth to his alarmingly candid funeral service, is an invaluable resource for those who suffer from depression, know somebody who has depression, and those coping with a loved one's suicide. It's also one of the first documetaries to really exhibit the complexities involved: medication, diagnostic evaluations, etc. The parents are wonderful people, their courage is astounding. R.I.P Evan

  • evan is in heaven...:(

  • good for him ,me nxt

  • @bofawziii What do u mean?

  • "sometimes the sadness doesn't have origins, nor causes, maybe it comes from past lifes or just it's there, within our chest, he just wanted to release her, possibly the world is lost of a great musician or writer, of a great person, but he devoted his life to give another message whatever, he achieved it at causing that crowds is shaken with his history"

  • He was SO pretty :(,... so sad,... He should be 20y right now. I'm 20 too,... that makes it so scary,.. It's like it coold happen to me :(,.. R.I.P Evan,... You were so beautiful and more than that. x

    love you

  • Evan es un genio, el es artista, porque paso hizo de su vida una metáfora de lo que sentía. Me conmovió profundamente el documental de evan ya que me sentí muy identificado con sus pensamientos.

  • It is absolutely incredible how can a mind create such wrong appreciations....in his suicidal note he said he was ugly and pretty much a loser and all I could get from the documentary was that he was a talented and lovely kid. I wish there was another way besides Lithium to make kids like Evan understand that what they see in the mirror is nothing but a wrong appreciation made by an illness that can be fixed. My best wishes for Evan's family, this movie touched my heart Blessings from Chile

  • It's unbelievable how much effect this film has on it's audience. Very Very moving. R.I.P to the young man and much condolences to his family.

  • After watching this documentary a few days ago , I feel as though the documentary allowed us to know a part of Evan, His memory will remain, and he will live on through the memories he's created with everyone he's known or ever communicated with. As for myself, I feel like I miss him, since I've watched this moving story , I can't stop thinking about him. Like I've lost someone that was close to me. but yet he wasn't .

  • @mschar2u17 thank you for your kind words.

  • I am very moved by Evan's story. My son is 8 yrs old and always talks about death or dying. It's scary to think he may do it someday! When I watched to full documentary about Evan, I saw so many of the same things in Evan that I see in my son.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Evan and your story. Thank you for bringing awareness!!
