lmao so true, though ironically lesbians don't do that. I'm a girl and my girlfriend and i are always like "oh wow check out her-". I think it's got a lot to do with the factor that the gay community is extremely small- if you comment on someone else, your partner obviously isn't going to fear for anything, even if it's solely the fact that the girl (or guy in your case) was straight anyway.
