Piano on Roland Fantom G8, X6 and V-synth GT

Hi!,

I tested the Fantom G6 in the music store but I decided for the Fantom X6 because i found it for a nice price on ebay and I didn't know anything about these two boards then.

I have own my Fantom X6 for 2 years and the main question is:

Is there a real diference between these keyboards that average users could see or just a very trained musician (keyboard player) could find a overwhelming diference that it justifies the difference of price?

@ANDRES77 for non-professional use, the great difference ir the price, because x6 and g6 have, both of then, very things that are only used by professionals... the fantom is almost an complete audio studio...

Hi, i have both the x6 & g6 also but am having probs getting the sync to work between them, ie G6 sequencer driving the x6 sequencer.

Any ideas ??

Hmm, the song is rather nice with the short attacks at the beginning... but the piano sound is... not so bright and could use a little bit more work. But it's kinda funny you're moving from Fantom G to Fantom X, lol... you could clearly hear that Fantom X is much more synthesized (As in, less natural sounds) than G.
