Thank you, so much, OakdaleHistorian for posting this ep. Do you have any other eps from August 1984 (especially Whit's murder -- I've seen on WoST the outcome of the trial in November of that year)? And I knew and remembered it correctly, but all the so-called editors at wikipedia wouldn't believe me that both Whitney Houston & Phyllis Diller both guested on ATWT around this time.
I love the exterior shot of Memorial. Nowadays that would be considered an expensive remote! That fade to black before the opening montage takes some getting used to. I like how they changed it later. High Point coffee? Never heard of it. Who's the Madonna wannabe holding hostages on GL? LOL.
High Point coffee was P&G's mid-1980's (not very long period of time, I think a year maybe two before P&G pulled the product) attempt at invading the market for Nescafe's Taster Choice product in modest income homes. Obviously we now know which product survived.
R.I.P. Whitney Houston, this episode of ATWT is dedicated to her.

Who is that doctor, and who is that man in the leather jacket? He's kind of cute. Nice to see Marisa Tomei.

I must have seen the trial at WoST too. I couldn't figure out why it was so hard to find on YouTube.

That's Darcy, expertly played by Robin Johnson from the 80s cult classic "Times Square". That accent is a riot ain't it??

Darcy had been part of Lujack's gang, the Galahads.
