@TheEXXpert U select the "pen" tool, trace around the object u want to keep, choose paths, right click then choose "make selection" after the racing ants" appear around the image u hold down "cntrl+C" to copy the image, and then "ctrl+V" to paste it into a new layer .

The Pen tool is good but it just annoys me sometimes.

@kenjabac lol well with the magic wand the edges of the image would come out jagged . With the pen tool it's more precise and you can make sure you're selecting the right pixels

@coacoapeaches haha thanks, and i just used the pen tool , cropped around the image and then created a new selection around the image, copy and pasted it into a new layer, then deleted the background. u have to get used to using the pen tool.
