@TheHasseclaes He's not hitting flat serves though. Plus he's been training before this so will be somewhat tired. I'm sure he can hit serves much faster than this, especially when he's not aiming for cones!

@vicentecasanova because in real time so it is hard to know so the swing pattern looks the same on both the flat and the topspin serve. however, in slow motion, the topspin serve requires the player to have this "brushing" motion up the back of the ball. While, in the flat serve, the player tends to hit straight to the ball.

@vicentecasanova no. although a topspin serve can have a different ball toss direction, it is not the only difference. in a flat serve, you just basically hit down on the serve with no spin at all. in a topspin serve, you hit over the ball and in the direction of left to right so the ball does not only kick up, but also right (from your POV)

its very solid, simple and fluid..

if your a youngster, amateur or club player... then this a good service style to copy..

federer's is more complicated than this...

his requires ALOT of precision, which is very difficult to achieve
