  • The Best, come back Ian

  • Still love it!

  • What happened to his hair???

  • Fantastic song. Beautiful Billie has aged better than the baldy Yorkshire git. :>)

  • @stunjamie Bollocks, he's still gorgeous and he's got an excellent voice.

  • What year??

  • Wow. Billie Godfrey. Talk about an adorable creature with VERY acceptable features.

  • Bring back carol kenyon !

  • Need to see these live! So cool

  • Billie godfrey....... SMASH!

  • looks like a fat jason statham

  • Makes you wonder why Heaven 17 never used to play live! May be because Billie Godfrey wasn't around? 1 of the best songs ever!

  • Would love to give her one!

  • Billie's voice and energy really make this a great live version of Temptation

  • this female singer is fantastic!!! great range on vocals!

  • Brilliant! They've still got it in spades!

  • what happened to the original male singer when did jasper carrot take over?

  • @GolfBallHeads He is the original singer, he's just had a haircut.

  • whats Mick Hucknall doing on the guitar??? hahaha

  • bloody brilliant, wish they would come out to Oz. What happened to the original female lead singer?

  • @simla10 - I think the original backing singer was Carol Kenyon, and along with Sylvia Mason James was one of the UKs top session singers in the early 80s. She was not ever in anyone's band, but sang back up on a lot of those early 80s hits. Great voice, not sure where she's at these days, probably still singing with a voice like that though.

  • Great song was around the time it was released. This is closer to the original version than the La Roux Heaven 17 colaberation. Love both.Cheers

  • this lady should sing with pink floyd on breathe

  • @cutiewoo22 You mean 'The Great Gig in the Sky' right? Breathe doesn't have a female vocalist and would be ruined if it were anything but gilmour/wright

  • @ShiivaWilding err hav no idea i didnt post it i think my mums been on my account :')

    i'll tell her

  • Magnificent piece of work.

Billie Godfrey's dimension is just so brilliant with her amazing vocals in this song, and she's so very sexy with it.

Oh! to hear and see a live performance, lucky those who have.

  • woo billie was my singing teacher at the start of this year, she's doing brilliantly!!

  • Finished their tour in Bristol last night-----------BRILLIANT!!!!! Billie was indeed excellent, her vocals soaring to unimaginable heights! The whole bands performance deserved the rapturous ovation they received. A poignient song in the encore was a slower more downbeat rendition of 'Party Fears Two' in memory of the late Billie McKenzie------Superb and Thoughtful. XX

  • Billie was absolutely awesome in Oxford on Monday. Even with BBC's good sound quality it is a very poor substitute for her live performance. Such a shame we caught the tail end of Heaven 17's short UK tour, I'd have gone back for more if there had been the opportunity to do so. Let's hope the tour bug has bitten them and they do it all again.

  • The lead singers performance makes me smile, and the woman is so damn sexy. Does anybody know her name?

  • @ANOTHERHOLEINYOHEAD Billie Godfrey

  • @AndrewUK1987 Thanks for letting me know that.

  • Put a big big smile on my face when I saw this. Flawless performance. Let's hear some more from them.

  • been looking for this since i saw the show ,what a singer she is.

  • brilliant

  • For those of us privileged to see this broadcast performance live, it will live long in the memory. Billie Godfrey’s vocals are truly awesome! In a world of mime artistes, what a revelation to hear a vocal superstar who can enhance the magic that is Heaven17’s Temptation!

  • i thought this was performance of the night

  • WOW how on earth do you get your videos so clear? This is the highest quality i've seen from the Jools Holland programme. Keep up the good work!

  • It's like they have never been away. What a wonferful performance. They deserved to close the show.
