I fish a stretch of river that is around 6 foot wide with snag lined banks. I have to use 20 pound line to get the bleeders in cos u cant give em an inch with the snags. No word of a lie when u get a big fish on u really struggle to hold on to the rod it amazing they are such powerful fish. Nice vid mate

great vid's. i am going to have a go at catching my first barbel on the severn. i notice that you use boilies a lot, do you think it catches bigger fish, rarther than meat or sweetcorn? what test curve would you recommend for a barbel rod, i have a few carp rods but they all have a tc of 3lb, which i have bin told is a bit strong. thanks alot keep posting!
