@juggs1992 Well zeektyhbomb pointed that since it's a hybrid, water would probably help, but most peppers are oil based (the spiciness you feel is coming from the oils) and since water and oil doesn't mix, you would only be spreading it around. Milk is fat based, not water based, so the fat in milk absorbs the oils, saving your tongue and mouth from an inferno. :p

@utubesqueeze speaking from experience with ghost chili peppers, milk does nothing when its that hot. The only thing you can really do is wait out the burning, but the knotted up stomach will stay with you for a few days. The stuff is good to make sauce with, but eating it straight is just dumb.... Look up hottest burger in the world challenge. LosingAllSanity has a vid posted where a burger is served with rubber gloves and a waiver has to be signed...

Even pepper extracts often aren't that strong. I didn't know peppers could get that hot. I love habaneros, but I'd definitely hesitate before eating one of those, even a small piece.
