I tried this too but it made certain parts glow and the others look like I painted it with windows paint, I followed all your instructions, any advice?
Man ur so easy to listen to and you take it so slow thatäs great because i just got Photoshop element7 today and i need som newbie tourtails so i am subscribing!
I Loved the video nice and slow speaking makes it easy to understand. I have been watching a lot of tutorials and this one, thanks to you makes the process understandable. Please keep up the good work!!
I litteraly just baught elements 7 and hate it more than life its self!!!! i tried to change the color like this and i just crudely spraypainted a portion of the car, i could have done this in regular ol paint, what a massive waiste of time patience and money photoshop is, i guess you have to buy the supremely pricey version of photoshop for good results....thanx for the rape adobe!!!
When I follow these instructions a box pops up saying could not replac colour as no pixels selcted. I want to change the eye colour in a picture of a face. How do I do this? Thanks
I am sorry that the tutorial didn't work the way I intended for you. Maybe I didn't get something across in the tutrorial correctly so you could understand. If you tell me what you are trying to change the color of I will figure out how to do it and send you the instruction you need to get the results you would like.
See how the blue window on the upper left *ALSO* changes to green? This is a misleading video that shows the wrong way to change a color of an object. You are changing the collor of the *entire* image. If you want to make this tutorial correct (without changing the title of it) select the car or make a mask.
Sorry if you think I 'm harsh but as I am a newbie to PS I was hoping for instruction on the correct way to change an object and I needed to un-learn what you taught in your video.
@luckyday2 This tutorial worked OK for me, you have to persivere with the eye dropper and the sliders ,also if the image has lots of shades of the same colour you have to tweak it about and experiment with the slider settings, watch the video again because this guy knows what he is doing.
I like your voice....

Nice job on video, you make it look easy.

This does NOT tell you how to change the color of an OBJECT. It changes the color of EVERYTHING in the picture. What a waste of my time!
