I still have my original burton Craig Kelly board from back in the day, what a legend and a true inspiration to any boarder.

The more I learn about Craig Kelly the more I regret never seeing him in his prime. He represented the true soul of snowboarding. I think he would approve of the stuff riders like Jeremy Jones, Xavier De La Rue and Terje Haakonsen are doing now.Snowboarding should be about free spirit and self expression, not points and podiums.

I am 16 years old and comes from a small city in sweden where snowboard is one of the most inportante things cause we like live on a mountin. Like my mom gets mad if I dont go out snowboarding, and here everybody knows who Craig Kelly is but people from göteborg, malmö, stockholm (the big citys) relates snowboarding to shean wight.. it´s so wrong if snowboarding should be related to eany person it should be Craig Kelly ...SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING

You know Craig redefined the sport, becouse he made took it from being a sport to being a way of life. I hold his values dear to my heart when I ride and have done so for the my 11 years of snowboarding and yet I still am considered a poser. Oh well becouse when I 'm dropping my line it all leaves my mind as if Craig is taking it away from me and replacing it with the soul of the mountain.

Feels like so long ago really, started out skiiing atomics, my dad got them for me and i was so stoked. Then I found a plastic board with a rope and thought wow this is fun. Bigfoot, burton, sims all coming on line and snowboarding was not just sledding anymore. I felt on top of the world. So sad you had to leave so soon, but I am glad you brought snowboarding to a new level, you gave me the courage to keep on ripping.
