I've been with Amazon since September last year. Started on Rebin and then once peak started I went on to the nightshift where I went on to Kickout and then in November trained as a Problem Solver.

After peak I was trained in single and multi pack. Made an Associate in February.

Left on the 4th July to start a better more promising career.

My opinion of Amazon: They want brainwashed robots/zombies.

It's a pity they lose stuff and piss off their customers! I ordered a camera and a bag from them and have had a hell of a time trying to get it delivered. They say it has been scanned and is on the way to the shipping depot and the shipping depot, Citylink, say they haven't received it. Something's not quite right.

I've worked for Amazon twice-I've worked as a packer on both occasions-not a really bad job, but Amazon are a strange company to work for, a lot of take from them but hardly any give.

A total 35 mins of break in a 8 hour day, and "random" security checks. If you get caught by the red light at the end of a shift you can be waiting up to 30 mins to get searched, which you don't get paid for.

Kids, if you ar5e around at school and think that's OK, watch this. This could be your future, think on ;-)

I think amazon.uk might be going under.

Recently they are offering free shipping within the UK with no limits, they now sell the cheapest DVDs on any Amazon.

I love this even though I live in Canada. I find that buying UK DVDs shipped from Amazon.uk is significantly cheaper than buying it locally in Canada. and I can play PAL UK DVDs in native pal since I have an upconverting PAL/NTSC DVD player all region. I love Amazon.uk.
