  • It's so mangy :( poor thing

  • I tried coaxing one today, it looked pretty thin so I wanted to feed it. I left some food outside my window for her ( I think it's a female fox ) and I ended up coaxing a mouse instead! Whoops! I look forward to seeing more of your footage :-) foxes are so cute

That's the problem of leaving food for foxes I had as well. But at the same time, a mouse can be a good food for your fox : )

  • Great video and cool soundtrack. I came on here looking for videos of fox screams as I heard some last night for the first time-they sound amazing. I also noticed a couple of foxes that come into the garden underneath our apartment, but unfortunately I can't feed them, as I would have to throw food into the neighbours garden which I'm sure wouldn't go down too well. Maybe I can coax them up onto the roof?

Thanks. I guess what you heard was marking out of territories. The young are competing a lot this time for helping themselves to food and have to be ready to go in search of a new territory. I was and I am still probably one of those who were unable to resist the allure of the exotic(I'm South Korean) animals but after all I realised the foxes are very independant, hardly have lost their instinct. So try not to worry too much : ) But if you want to coax them, I wish you luck!

  • it's so cute! You should take care of her more often and maybe feed her with mroe appropriate food :-)

  • @Wanthy

Thanks Wanty. We did feed her proper food later on actually. You can find out what happened next in my other footages : )

  • A fox and Bowie on the record player , aaahh the finer things in life!

  • @tarkster99

    Totally agree : )

    Thanks for your comment!

  • poor fox

  • amazing piece of footage, i've never seen urban foxes being fed like that before

  • @lampole

Sorry for getting back years later.

I had never seen that case before either. But I found later that kind of lethargy was one of the symptoms of the disease she was carrying which easily would have led her death for loss of the concentration in daytime surroundings. Thanks for your comment.
