Nigga please! What you should see is me, Jimi Hendrix smoking a joint on the 4 train between cars & gettin off at 183rd and Jerome Avenue, walk up East 183rd towards Grand Concourse & cop a half ounce of weed from some Jamaican Rasta brothers on the corner of Creston and 183rd. Ya, Man! LOL Good upload, though homie! But spice it up. I once heard some big dude tell an old Puerto Rican that he was gonna give him "a Bronx beatdown" on the 4 train. :)
im thinking about moving to one of the boroughs after high school/college, i really love the Bronx and that was my first choice, but i like Brooklyn too....what would you recommend
@JamaicaQnzFreak cool thats what i was thinkin i travel down to NYC every once in a while well actually i travel to long island to see family but i go to the city and everything in my spare time, and when i went to the bronx last year idk what it was about the place but i loved it, it almost felt like i was home haha, but i grew up near Buffalo/niagara falls in a shitty little town, and its soooo boring im dying to live in a place like the bronx where shit actually goes on and theres shit to do.
Make a 2010 video going the same route, the same way. The ones that said bad racist crap, are jerks. Right now I"m homeless. Just to have a apartment again with affordable rent, I"ll take one in the Bronx. Willing to pay 650 a month. I like the area around the Parkchester station, on the 6 line.
It's taking pride in your culture that matters. I was raised to respect all people regardless of where they came from. My parents were imigrants. Loved America with all their heart. There is a book called "The Beautiful Bronx" a must read.
I respect ppl also even where they came from but its always one bad apple thats spoils the bunch. I used to live in The Bronx and I've seen the changes!
I didn't want to film all the way to Woodlawn nor I didn't want to go past the time limit mark. If you want to see the train arrive @ Woodlawn....go to my Riding inside of an empty R-142 4 train!
My aunt lives near the Yankee stadium on the Grand Concourse. I really liked staying there when I was visiting. Bronx is a really cool place, can't wait to visit again. Great video. Thanx
Thank you....yeah The Bronx is a cool place to live depending on what section you live. My best friend lived near Yankee Stadium but he moved to New Jersey. I think you should come and visit The Bronx...I pass through The Bronx from time to time!
Thanks for the trip,I use to live at 435 E.161 st. Melrose Ave When I was a shorty,But POP packed me up to Miami in 1969,I like to see the old place before I die.
that's right kid 183rd all the way!!!!......who's this peace of shit racist fag talking trash???? i would go where he lives and fuck him up!!!! with a bunch of Latins and blacks ...
Don't even stress it b/c ignorance never dies and ppl love to talk trash about blacks and latinos. I'm not Latino and I'd be damned I'll let anyone bad mouth them why b/c when I moved to The Bronx back in 1991 they were the 1st ones to become my friends and I have lots of respect for Latinos and/or the Hispanic community!
Dnt matter who u r or wah u r...if u respect me we gud....pero if theres anything 2 be racist 2...it would be white ppl kuz they hate us black nd latinos...spanish is black...im spanish nd i know im black nd im proud thas how we should all look at it....dnt discriminate....
Thank you very much. I was waiting for a Hispanic/Spanish person to comment those racist remarks by those other ppl. I'm glad you are proud of your heritage. Thank you for this positive comment!
whatever. i have been to the bronx many times and never once had a problem! it has changed and no matter where you go,crime is everywhere.or if you go looking for it you will find it!161st, jerome ave and trinity and never once had any shit with anyone. i got eyed alot but i figure it's because they know i;m not from there.you want to see poverty? go to new orleans or philly! thats a shit hole!i have an uncle in new orleans and i went through there and it looked like bagdad before katrina.

Anywhere on the 4 train in the Bronx puts you right in the Puerto Rican ghetto. Be careful when you get off cuz you might step in some pit bulls shit
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Oh bullshit, you obviously ain't spent much time in the Boogie Down. There's Puerto Rican ghettos all up and down the 4, 5, 2 and B lines. And a lot of them peoples has pits and they don't pick up their dog shit. Oh, and they're in Queens and the BK too.
I used to live in The Bronx from 1989-2003....the people that befriended me was Puerto Ricans and I don't have a problem with any of them. Anyone with a dog whether its a pit bull or a Rottweiler don't clean up after their dogs so please....that's a load full of crap and you know it!
Where do you get your information from? Most of The Bronx is not ghetto. The Bronx have some real nice areas for example Riverdale, Pelham Bay Park. It don't matter where you live there will be crime even the suburbs and rural area have crime. Living in the PJ's doesn't make you a bad person nor it being poverty, if you want to see real poverty go Down South or the Mid-West. The Bronx have changed over the years including the South Bronx!
cool video. will you do a video from Woodlawn to Yankee stadium 161 st or something like that ?

So is the Bronx not a ghetto? The Bronx consist of many high crime - high poverty hoods. That makes it the ghetto.
Whether its the Puerto Ricans in the south Bronx
The Dominicans in the West Bronx
The Blacks in the central bronx
Or the Jamaicans in the northeast Bronx
Each location above is the ghetto. The majority of the people who reside there make it a "__________ ghetto".
Of course alot of hoods are shared anyways.
