Johnbleroy (who I am guessing is northern) is obviously very prejudice and lends credence to the fact that you cant judge a population on stereotypes. In general I consider northerners to be very nice people, yet johnbleroy deviates very far from this stereotype.

Did you know that the white South has a higher percentage of single mothers, welfare mothers, and abortions too, compared to black populations in the cities of America? Look it up. I "looked it up" like you said, Not to mention New York and Florida have the 2nd and 3rd highest population, so for thier RATE of abortion to be high they have to be having a lot of abortions, but i wouldnt expect someone without an education to know this. Why read facts when we can make them up?
@johnbleroy and one more thing, mississippi has the highest single parent rate in the south resulting in 1.2 mil single parents, yet new york, whose rate is lower by approx. 8%, manages to pull in more than 7 mil single parents. interesting how you can call southern people ignorant... oh and before it is even brought into play, im from southern california, born and raised, so this isnt southern pride, its just pointing out that under-educated people are more likely to be racist, look it up
How exactly does this not sound like dixieland? dixieland is defined by the style of the music, and known for the different musicians staying in key yet not playing the same melody for a majority of the song. granted it doesnt sound that much like original dixieland because the difference in melodies was not as abundantly obvious in that era, but during its revival in the 40s when the great Satchmo took the stage this is exactly what you could expect.
