@altorkelson We do have tons of all-ages shows in seattle, but that's only because young people got organized and demanded it! In our book we tell the whole story, but imagine 80 teenagers invading a city council hearing and dancing to protest anti-dancing laws! That's why we've got great music options today.

@ResoIve Not entirely true, it's just some venues. I actually went to the House of Blues for a concert and I'm below 21 years old and they let me in. The only thing i couldn't do, of course, was get a alcoholic drink from the bar. Which I wouldn't want anyways xD

The only all ages music place there is in my area (Fall River, Massachusetts) is a little music store called TJ's & every Tuesday they have a Jam Night where people of all ages can come & play music or listen to other people play. We need more places like that around here!

Over here in the UK the majority of gigs don't have an age limit and those that do are 14+ however you can still go if you have an adult with you, and the best thing is they still sell alcohol at the gigs. Yay for relaxed under-aged drinking laws :D

@xJuliakind I always go to 013 in tilburg and most of the time they have age control becasue of the alcohol, but when you show your 013 pass, they know I go to concerts like once a month, and then they let me in. don't know how that is is north holland though, when I went to see 30 seconds to mars it was without age.

This is good and all, but doesn't really concern me, as I live in Norway, and most shows have "all ages areas".

Although most shows in clubs and bars are 18 and up or more, depending on their policy.

But it is ridiculous. Especially when a band's fan base is predominantly underage. Just ask for ID at the door, slap a (brightly coloured) wristband or stamp on the underage kids that says UNDERAGE with big letters and have the employees pay attention. Problem solved.
