  • always the fucking same ride pattern -.-

    in all cymbals!

  • I think it's too expensive (constantinople)! And there are better cymbals in the world. :-/

I love the Istanbul Traditional Jazz Ride (340 $ (240 euro)).

  • my 21"constantinople med ride was way too dry for my likeing, pritty gud bell but for the bucks the K custom zildjians sound better.

  • I love the "slap" you get off the constantinople.

  • i was so lucky i got a zildjan avedis ride like you have and also a zildjan avedis crash ride, came with a ludwig set that i got for 300 bucks lmao, i dont even use the ride anymore though. i know i got lucky with that one :)

  • congratulations man, i dream with that ride .. enjoy it

  • you should be very very proud of that ride. It sounds amazing.

  • Good sounding cymbal!

  • Do you play drums or what? Thinking a ZBT ride sounds better than these is slightly far fetched, dude.

  • You proberbly prefer cutting pingy sounding cymbals with less wash. I used to but then I got into jazz playing and swapped my sabian raw bell dry ride for a k light ride which sounds a lot more like these. I think it just depends on what type of music you like/play

  • Where did you get all thoughs?

  • First cymbal:

Ohh, i love that sound it soo clear and fresh in a way.. Not the best cymbal with sizzler though.. I would recomend a darker sounding cymbal with sizzler.

    Second: Nice, but not special.

  • the metal bead strand is a cheap way of getting rivets, i think the beads sound terrible, but you can get em at a gutar centr

  • the metal bead strand is a cheap way of getting rivets, i think the beads sound terrible, but you can get em at a gutar centr

  • Anyone know where one can get those metal beads??

  • shut up! He is hitting the cymbal so you can hear it. Not performing! Idiot!

  • Maybe this is a brand new style of playing %D

  • Lol dude!

  • His ride pattern is fine, he just needs to sort out whose pattern he likes best. In about a minuite I hear Elvin, Art, and Roy Hanes Jr. And that might have been intentional, so it all depends

(I really dig the first one... try using Peter Erskine's "Ride Stick" and see how it sounds!)

  • istanbul one sounded okay the rest was abunch of noisy crap

  • Buy used Zildjian if you can. They still sound great (maybe even better), and they're cheaper than new.

  • Could you put a sound test of the avedis w/o the rivets?

  • man you goofed around on that constantinople like you are in love with it!! lol...

but from all that cymbals on this vids i would take the K.Constatinople, if i had the money for it :(

  • I bought K Custom Dark Ride. $120 cheaper...

Probably I shoud put video-test of my cmbls..

  • I didn't like all the cymbals..

  • The chainsizzled Constantinopel sounded so awesome ! wow

  • smoks kill lol

  • lol wtf

  • first one sounds best

  • istanbul is the best

  • those are some really weak doubles you're playing lol

  • I don´t play doubles here,I play triplets!;)

But I was weak, you´re right on this.

  • very interesting sound investigation

  • Notice that the definition increased when you add the chain sizzler on the 20" K Constantinople Medium Ride? The only downside of that is when you play slow-tempo ballads... the sizzler chokes the nice undertones of the cymbal, and you do not want that to happen on ballads. :)

OH another thing, it's "Istanbul" not "Istambul". Big difference. :)
