He never mentions it in any interview ive ever seen though. Like on his website for example. You said this is on his Concert Concerto Suite Live with Japan Philharmonic album. Where? It's not mentioned by name of Zelda on the track list. At least not any actual copy or or torrent copy I've ever seen.

@samalextij445 Every amp is different, so are pickups. the pickups doesn't matter that much. just makes sure you use the neck pickup and just enough gain for it to create a smooth sustained note.

Definitely not Malmsteen, in the first place, Yngwie has never sounded like this, is not his tune either. Now this doesn't have any type of improvisation, Yngwie always improve something.

It can't be an old demo he made when he wasn't still famous, because Zelda was released in 1986, at that time; Yngwie was releasing his third album and I doubt he had the time and interest in making this cover

Anyway, this isn't an all that great cover, but it's pretty nice, I really liked it :D
