There is castity at this point in Chris' life at this point on the LP, since he's going through a rough patch in his marriage. There is no adultery. The intention of the song is to acknowledge that sexual desire is something humanly organic. That's all. COLDPLAY is always about love. There's no time for promiscuity in COLDPLAY.

@mouldbug2 Ur kinda correct, but the way u translate is wrong, i mean "Viva la vida" in fact means live the life but only if ure talking to somebody else. But the word "viva" is also used like "Cheers!!" so the correct translation to english would be "Cheers up the life" or "long live life", like it was said before.

The title of the album and the picture of the album though they have sth to do with each other, they are not directly related. Hope it helps :)
