yes, indeed....drill sergeants (drill instructors or DI as we call them) are very strict and proper...i was trained in marines upon military entrance at cavite....strict but they do know how to throw jokes and when they do..you'll laugh your heart out!!! they are very hilarious too behind those tiger looks..

There are only 3 branch of service (or major service) in the AFP (Army, Air Force and Navy). The Philippine Marine Corps is a type unit of the Philippine Navy just like the Philippine Fleet.

Philippines is in progress...i can see in the news everyday..In fact pagcor is builing the worlds 2nd tallest tower..So no doubt..^_^But still there is corruption..so the AFP will be slow..or the modernization is a joke6^.YOU CANT MODERNIZE YOUR ARMY WITH YOUR STEADY ECONOMY-or shall we say SLOW,but still progressing.So cheap stuff are all we can buy for now^_^AT LEAST.WE CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT^^

yes, indeed....drill sergeants (drill instructors or DI as we call them) are very strict and proper...i was trained in marines upon military entrance at cavite....strict but they do know how to throw jokes and when they do..you'll laugh your heart out!!! they are very hilarious too behind those tiger looks..

Sir agree ako sa battalion size sila w/c is normal size is 4 coys. Ang SEAL sa Pinas is SWAG. Under sila ng NAVSOG kasama na ang Force Recon dun. Anyway, wala naman tayong pagtatalunan kasi elite naman sila pareho.
Kapibahay mo pala member ng SOG? baka puwede pasabi bawal ginagawa niyang nagpapa-ID siya. Walang Spec Op na nagpapa-ID. High Risk yan brod.

I personally know a tactical edged impact weapons instructor who teaches our Philippine Marine Corp. Magigiting ang iba nating mga sundalo, mga bro. Luma man ang mga gamit natin (at minsan kapos pa nga) mahuhusay na mga mandirigma ang mga kawal natin. Tapatan lang ng mano y mano panis ang ibang mga lahi. Sa katunayan, hinahanap-hanap ng ibang mga bansa ang sariling atin na martial art dahil DESIGNED TO KILL ang martial art natin.

floods.. typhoons.. etc. disasters that we filipinos are used to.. but when it comes to other frist world countries its a major disaster to them.. we just shrug our shoulders, smile and say "ganyan talaga ang buhay"...

There are only 3 branch of service (or major service) in the AFP (Army, Air Force and Navy). The Philippine Marine Corps is a type unit of the Philippine Navy just like the Philippine Fleet.

What does the Philippine Navy, Airforce have? 5 ships and outdated aircrafts in their inventory?

nope yeah outdated aircrafts maybe, but the ships, i dont know what kind of ship are you talking but,phil navy has more corvettes that 5, corvettes alone not including the other kinds

hay... poor filipino soldiers. they die for our country but what do they get. corrupt government. and foolish arguments and conflicts. I hope our government focus also for our soldiers. they are the one will protect us. we need more power for our defense.

cybersakuragi, all governments in the world are corrupt to varying degrees. even if we achieve economic recovery we will always have corruption in the government because stealing is a personal choice that is made without regard to the welfare of the nation. the only way for progress is to have a new generation of intelligent citizens who have the love of country burning in their hearts and that will make the difference.
so stop thinking ill of the NAVY because it is your NAVY!

Hindi nag iinvest ang gobyerno natin ng mga tangke, eroplano at malalaking barko. Ang focus ng bansa natin ay weapons for low intensity warfare para sa mga rebelde at saka calamity funds dahil lagi tayong dinadaanan ng bagyo.
wag mong sabihin na weak ang Phil Navy dahil hindi mo sila kayang patumbahin mag isa... subukan mu kaya ang training nila para malaman natin kung sino ang weak..

mancenido19, don't be such a stupid asshole by comparing this country with the U.S. because the only way for anyone to be a superpower is to first of all have a SUPER POWER WALLET. what we need is an economic recovery and a financial pipeline that will enable us to buy decent warships, warplanes, and etc. having a respectable external defense capability is a result of having the money for it. this country will only remain a "tuta" if it's citizens have a brain like yours.
