  • This old midi music is like drug to me. Hours devoted to this great game.

  • Can anyone help me... I want to download this game but i don´t know where... I have the game on a disk but I just can´t open it... Where can I downloaded it? Can you please help. I like this game a lot... If you know please tell me... I have windows xp... Is that the problem?

  • South America is well suited for a rebellion. Access to silver, tobacco and cotton starts you off well and there's easy access to Iron ore.

This is where the game gets easy because the game automatically brings the price of muskets to 20 in hopes of stifling a rebellion. But with all your tools you can sell thousands of muskets at a premium. You can then buy anything you need from Europe.

Even at "viceroy" you can build an army 3 times the size of a European expeditionary force.

  • Dear god the memories. I was barely in kindergarten when I played this game and I had no clue what I was doing. I just wanted to get heaps of soldiers and ships haha. Very nostalgic right now. I'm going to download this game the next chance I get.

  • @MKD247 did you find a copy of colonization?

  • @GorterPoss Nah I got the Civ 4 version instead downloaded from Steam. It's not bad, a lot of similarities but just not the same as the old pixel version

  • @GorterPoss: Im pretty sure that it is legal to download the original game. Its downloadable from abandonia.

And you can run it in dosbox and all that jazz

  • the best way to get an early jump on the other countries is to sack aztec and inca cities as soon as possible, take the gold and buy what you need from europe till you can make it yourself. also getting cortez and that one guy who lets you build a custom house is nice to have soon too.

great job jalte It makes me feel good that I'm not the only one who loves this game, I'm happy to see all your videos

    keep it up! :)

  • @zacatetas
