Excellent show! I love the Jalapeno tip! I use them quite often and I'm always getting the juices in my eyes. Not sure why I didn't think of using a plastic bag, but I'm glad I watched your show. :) Keep up the good work! I just uploaded my first video yesterday. I can't wait to get my camcorder so I can start doing cooking videos as well. I look forward to more of your videos. Ciao!
I'll ask my mom make this one for me. And I really apreciate how people living in RVs survive. You know having a smaller home. But I'm looking forward in renting an rv for a vacation this summer.
I have 2 parents who I think are making their way towards being full time RVers haha! They have an awesome camper right now, I told them if you have 2 flat screen TV's + a wine rack in it, you're not "camping" anymore:D
I've seen a LOT of botched guacomole how-to's on here, yours is dead on, perfect! Great way to surprise camp company with all of that jalapeno? Great vid
Oh that wa great guacamolie! Thank You!!! But I also added a squirt of lemon juice just to make the dish POP more. Thank You again and you will be seeing me alot on the rver cooking show!!!
@barebones907 did u miss the lol?? haha im kidding ma lady...obviously adding the lemon juice is an important step that she missed...calling a guy out on calling the RVer out. Its a double call out, its funny. (picture the last sentance read by norm macdonald in the jeopardy skit..)
do you think you could demonstrate how to make something else? its really easy, and can be made in 1/2 an hour or less
one package ground turkey (or beef)
one medium can of corn
one large can diced tomatoes
one medium can black beans
one medium can of kidney beans
taco seasoning to taste
one meduim onion
in a large pot cook meat and onions until almost done, add strained beans and corn, add tomatoes, simmer until meat is fully cooked add taco seasoning to taste
Oh man, you made guacamole look so good, and I usually don't like it. Your show is fantastic, and very informational. As an aspiring Youtube chef myself, do you have any tips for creating a great show?
I just found this today, FANTASTIC! What a great a show.. please tell me this is on TV somewhere. The RV'ing subculture in the US and Canada is so awesome it needs more coverage on television. Speaking as a "slabber nub" I'll be referancing this frequentley for ideahs and tips for my new RV =)
You are so very kind! This was my very first RV Cooking Show - I think the show keeps getting better.
I agree - we RVers need more national exposure and I wish the show was on TV but alas, not yet. I'd love it and lots of others would, too...anyone out there interested in helping me take this to a national level?
Happiest of travels (and dining experiences) to you, EverHurt.
nice and diferent to my recepy... how can I get a Kiss later on if I eat this amount of onion and garlic.... realy It is a good cuestion....rate please.... thaks....
If you want to ripen a Avocado put it in a brown paper bag with a apple that had been sliced in half. You should also squeeze some lemon or lime into your guacamole. It keeps it from browning.
Look for my other RV-related videos by typing RoadabodeProductions (no spaces - you can copy and paste the name if that's easier) in the "search" box above. Happy travels...
Really great idea! It is must see TV for us... When is the episode on that south Florida beans and rice dish? Richard is right... the blooper reel is going to be funny! D~

we (mexicans), aren't that careful with the jalapeños. Actually we don't eat it that much with guacamole, usually we eat it with tacos :)

what does an RV-er do to make money?
or are you usually retired...?
hbfarmer 4 years ago
Work-camping, tele-commuting (if your job allows it), migrant working, stuff like that.

Browning dosn't affect the taste of the guacamole, and does not mean that it has gone bad. it just looks less appealing.

Cilantro overpower the taste of avocados, leaving the pit in the guacamole prevents it from getting dark, yeah it's a good guaca.

That is the best guacamole I've seen so far. Your making me SO hungry! I agree about the lime, that makes it so fresh tasting.
chrisforsythe07 4 years ago
Looks great! The only thing I'd add is a little fresh lime.
