As a Christian I find is sick how our nation acts like socialism is wrong, if you would read the BIBLE you would see that acceptance and aiding the poor is a requirement of gaining after life in heaven. true. scandinavian countries which are overwhelmingly welfare-oriented economies are still technically christian countries. there is no separation of church and state. their welfare-mindedness comes from their christian heritage. also, i find muslims feel the most at ease living in america than any other western country and it's a part of muslim culture to respect people outside of the 'umma' (community of muslim followers).
