  • Lithuanians helped build the ship

  • @perkela111 yes, i had drinks with a couple of them :D In fact, I think there were many people from other countries building that ship.

  • finland = weird

  • Largest CRUISE ship in the world

  • :-) U sure to loose, how much you wanna bet :-)

  • I bet alot and that's Shit on what your talking about.

  • Actually it's a huge motherfucking transformer and it will destroy the world!

  • Considering the fact that all passenger ships have a relatively high depth-to-draft ratio I wouldn't bet my money on Oasis of the Seas capsizing because of being "top heavy". I've repeated it several times in several videos, but keep in mind that there are quite a lot of heavy equipment and machinery, fuel oil and water tanks etc. located below the waterline, and there are large open spaces (the central park thing) in the superstructure.

  • so how big is this in relation to titanic

  • About 5 times as big. Titanic was 40,000+ gross tons, the size of a small modern cruise ship. Oasis is 220,000 gross tons.

  • Oasis' tonnage now is 225,282 GT.

    Titanic's tonnage is 46,328 GRT.

  • its quite nice

  • Finland Turku :)

  • can u imagine if it got stolen overnight lmfao.. somehow.

  • no one would steal it cause you can't hide such an enormous ship :)

  • it woulde be funny though.

  • yeah haha :)

  • and if they did they would get a lifetime in prison

  • Aaaaah, Suomalaista osaamista!

  • Tiedän ja Puolalaisia. I noe and Polish.

  • The Oasis class is almost 2000 feet in length and fully 60,000 Gross tons heavier. The Freedom class is just over a thousand feet long.

  • Uh, no!!! Its only 1,180 feet in length!!! Duh!!!! U mean its almost 1,200 feet in length!!!

  • INdeed... its a lot bigger lol

  • dont look that big.

  • are you serious??? Curious to what looks bigger.

  • Just absolutely amazing!!

  • HERE I COME! Sept. 11th 2010!!!!

  • I filmed it myself when we cruised past the ship. It was at the construction site in Turku, Finland. And I think it's still there, it's not finished yet.

  • what does ms syand for beacuse i thoght it was rms oasis of the seas

  • MS or M/S stands for Motor Ship,

RMS stands for Royal Mail Ship.

  • all the early ones are taken

    DAMMIT

  • damn I love this ship

  • haha yea true. I'm looking into going into naval architecture so hopefully I'll make it there sometime

  • so were you there on vacation or do you live there? I'd love to make it to Finland myself, but I'm still in high school and my parents don't think it'd be worth the trip!

  • I live here in Turku, Finland. I'd say your parents might be right on this one :D Nothing much to see here really.

  • No, we just cruised past it, too bad I forgot my video settings to low resolution on this one :(

  • wow, how did you get so close for footage??? do you work for stx europe??
