Thank you! Dawn and dusk is their favorite time to sing. I read somewhere they spread a little further north every year. Perhaps someday they will be up your way. What state was your sighting in?
so cute.. It seems that you still have snow there.. we're having a nice warm weather here ...feel like summer. Beautiful photos and with the background music, he looks like a deep thinker :D
Thank you my friend:) Today the temp finally got up to 60 degrees and the snow is gone. Phew! I am so looking forward to spring! Yes the carolina wren always appears to be a philosopher of some sort! I can always picture him with a monocle:) Maybe I'll photoshop one in someday:))
Fantastic footage, Seahue! I love those little Carolina wrens. When I first saw the title of this video, I thought you'd had a visit from a winter wren too. They are ridiculously cute--little puffballs with beaks and tiny tails. Seen any yet?
Thank you! I actually did not know there was an actual 'winter wren'...I probably should change the title...thank you for that info- a new bird to keep my eyes open for:))Sooooo many cute little puffballs out there!

That's incredible video! Thanks for sharing. I have only seen a wren once and never had the pleasure of hearing its famous song.
