New duals are worse in that if you don't play basic lands they come into play tapped while pain don't and they even give you a colorless mana without taking damage. If you need fast first turn drops or spells painlands are way better than new duals.

i agree B/W tokens is pretty much finished. i personally like mono white tokens, running Springjack Shephards and Pastures (casual). Fae may not be dead, but we can all agree it's a LOT weaker compared to other decks. but i splashed red for Grixis Charms to try end games a few turns faster. a +2/+0 attack with 4 or 5 guys and a couple Scions works good for me lol

I say black/red discard decks has the best boost due to haunting echoe and duress.

In addition, the dealers are ripping people off with the crappy new dual lands of $10 a piece like Starcitygames. Those land are worse then pain lands.

There's nothing wrong with the timer. It's a great idea ala PTI. But the thing is, LSV just blew Scanlan.

I have no problem with you limiting your points to 2min, but showing the timer to the audience is just plain stupid. It just make it feel extremely forced when you move onto the next.

I liked the sow but I was not a huge fan of the timer. More than once LSV was cut off before making a point. I think at least increase it to 3 minutes per subject.

This is what the magic show always wanted to be at the start having a great star on your side is a huge help.

I really like how you say with the bar on the side this is what we are covering.

But I wish that you would zoom out leaving the bar behind just leaving the clock there.

Also in regards to when you talk about cards I know most people will know what your talking about but maybe picture of the card when you talk about pop up in the extra space your give by zooming would be good.

I was wondering if my computer would automatically shut off when it hit the final zero.  Plus it seemed that the two were rushing through the conversation, I could see LSV sweat at about 46 seconds in.

yeah I agree, the "which decks get better" segment cut LSV off and I wanted to hear what he was saying. At least make it 3 minutes or talk faster lol but no timer would be better, like an hour long podcast weekly or something

Having taken TV production classed and spoken with some friends about this...

If you are going to do a timed segment like this you should probably let the guest finish the train of thought.

I do like the idea of multiple segments but a more in depth thing might be plausible as well.

Another complaint I have is that the questioner would spend 1/2 the time asking the question instead of giving the questionee time to answer it.

Overall I like the idea and think it will grow nicely!

I was using the Host / guest speaker interaction as an example. Hosts of shows tend to ask the questions and guests tend to answer them. Also the two people I'm sure are subject to change at some point.

The time aspect felt a little odd. Obviously you can't sit and ramble and ensure shows keep to a good pace. However the time limits come with the cost of cutting off mid sentance alot.

Overall though *puts the Mr.negative hat away* the show seems great and insight from the pros is always good.

The host was getting his cards mixed up. As spoiled, Baneslayer Angel has protection from Demons and Dragons, not Vampires. Undead Slayer has the ability to remove a skeleton, vampire, or zombie from the game.
