  • Woo! My two favourite synth bands :) <3 & both from good old Sheffield, haha !!

  • I like heaven 17. As to what others are saying below me, uk had good electronic composers in the 80s, ok no dispute. Now it's in America due to, possibly, hip hop influences. Later some social trends may make UK a good ground for composers. Goldfrapp is not bad today but she's one of few.

  • what's the song in the background at the start? something by the future?

  • @seagbb the dignity of labour by the human league

  • what a fuck you got on your gingernails. martin's answer was... magic just listen to me play!!!!

  • love ENGLISH MUSIC BANDS!!! Are the best .....

  • glenn gregory, ian marsh, martin ware, BEF,

    LETS KEEP THE TORYS OUT,

  • Penthouse and Pavement is the best dance music album ever!

  • UK is not really the best in the music world anymore though - there was good stuff in the US but the UK always had a better more connected club and music scene -

unlike the US where there was only a few good spots among endless redneck-vill and suburbs- US was too overrun by buttcrack rock n roll.

  • @civ1 What really? what about Techno from Detroit? What about Juan Atkins in 1981? What about the first US synth punk duo: SUICIDE with ALAN VEGA and MARTIN REV in 1971?

  • Yeah, England has always had the highest quality musical output. Doesn't matter who played what style first-the US or UK-the UK's music is superior.

  • That was interesting!

  • Martin "God" (gore)!

  • Yea the best in the world.

  • omg.....how England had given us the best music in the world
