I am sure this was staged, like his other videos where the eagle was tethered to the bush when the cougar kill it. Absolutely bullshits from people who never step in the woods. You can't make me believe something that I observe long time. And you can thumb me down as much as you want, don't bother vote of laics.
i think u have seen northern goshawk in the forest which tends to be less aggressive then finnish Goshawk, females will take down any other raptor that threats their which includes owls, kites n some eagle.peregrines also attacks other raptors near there nest, its a fact.
I was sarcastic. I observed nests of Goshawks with years. I fly one too. When I said 'this is staged' I mean exactly this vid, because I know the history of this director and what he doing to make his movies. I know what I need to know and I am not into falconry from week. And also I know Goshawks nests which are 50 or less meters with nests of Booted eagle, Long-legged Buzzard, Common Buzzard and Eurasian Tawny Owl, and they never got any problems with each other when I observed them.
Even on the one of the places the Goshawk came to nest in old Buzzard nest which is about 30 meters from other Buzzard active nest. Even one place the Eagle Owl is about 400 meters from the Goshawk nest and they exist with years.
Yes, I agree the Goshawk attack other bops, but this is so rare with big bops, can't be shot everyday, this why the director make "sacrifices" with most of his work, which I don't accept as something good. I really forgot his name, the people discuss him on the IFF, some Spaniard I remember. But you can see his other videos where the tethered animals can be seen.
just because you havnt seen it dosnt make it a fact. I am sure its happend more then just this once. If a haggard bird killed that booted eagle in this video I am sure its done it before.
and the director is Felix reodriguez de la Fuente

no one cares if you beleive it or not-dosen't mean its staged
you don't know either way
just b/c you don't beleive it dosen't make it staged b/c goshawks are known to kill other raptors...

This movie is bullshit. I know many gos nests which are about 50 meters from booted eagle nest and no of them make problems to the other bird.

Goshawks are known for killing other raptors in there territory
