  • Wow get some pigment bitch, who in there right mind would want to be that white????? No

  • Use half of this cream and scare people with your ghostly skin. This is great for Halloween.

  • I'd rather be pale than tan any day.

  • The model would look soo much cuter if she was tanned, instead she looks like a gross ghost. not a good look! I cant believe people buy crap like this... eeeeew

  • this looks so much better then those commercials about orange overtanned girls!

  • keep the skin color god freakinn' gave you .

    She's beautiful tan .

  • so stupid, i love my golden brown skin, i think brown skin people are so much hotter and sexier, lol wow like a tanned Adriana lima, compared to a pasty nicole kidman

  • @puzzey83 the girl in the add is eurasian ( basiclaly not really Asian ) Hhmmmm.. !!!!

  • What a beautiful woman, with or without whitening.

  • cool. all she's missing is gold eyes and fangs.

  • So, this commercial aired in Singapore. I've never seen this product advertised and/or sold in the US (thank goodness!) In fact, I didn't even know that this product existed until I saw this video.

  • @GetTheLook2010 Same here. These big companies (household names) are broadcasting these racist advertisements overseas. Behind America's back of course (lol).

  • @EricaYE6 I hear you girl. Olay (a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble) does not warn the consumers who buy this garbage about the high risk of acquiring

neurotoxicity, endocrine disruption, and organ system toxicity.

It's all about the money. P&G knows where to market for the most profitability and they know where NOT to market. They are not the only corporation who deals in such shady practices, but hey, what you don't know won't you.

  • @GetTheLook2010 So true. Goodness! What brand isn't under Procter & Gamble (lol)? I really want to know. B/c I'm trying to boycott any company/cooperation with such disgusting ads as these! The ones I do know about, I don't support anymore, like Olay, Nivea, Neutrogena, Vaseline, and Garnier. If you know of any more, please let me know. :)

  • @EricaYE6 Erica, trip out on this: P&G owns the rights to Dulce and Gabanna. Not only that, they own the rights to Gucci fragrances, Escada, Hugo Boss, and other companies you wouldn't believe PLUS the ones you mentioned.

Don't believe me? Check out their website for yourself PG(dot)com.

  • @GetTheLook2010 Hi! Thanks for the website sweetie. So sorry for the delay. I did check it out. And, I realize that although I've been boycotting a lot of their products, my place is still full of P & G stuff! It's almost impossible not to buy something of theirs. They seem to be taking over everything. Greedy weasels! I'll just have to try harder I guess and write letters to them about their harmful ads. Thanks again and take care.

  • and i may add, not all of them who use whitening cream want to be white!!!!! they have their own preference such as for uneven skintone and brownspots

  • I don't get it here in U.S. Everybody wants to tan in the sun or go to the tanning place. tanning is bad for your skin and causes skin cancer. Anyways, it depends on what whitening creme you get. Most whitening creams have Hydroquinone that causes Cancer. that's right I said cancer. that Hydroquinone produces Carcinogens. so do your research before getting a product.

  • she looks soo much better tanned... she went pale and sick looking afterwards...

  • Why is this shown in signapore, where there are hardly any white women? What a disgrace, their trying to brainwash the world.

  • All the fucking Americans and other Western Peoples that are complaining about these videos are idiots, because in the U.S. preety much everyone wants to be tanned! So dont be hypocrites! Every person, and culture has their own ideals of beauty! Leave them all alone!

  • Well said! I'm Asian, but I live my whole life in Canada. Here, everyone want to be tanned and there is no whitening product! Still, I've always wanted to keep my fair skin, not easy with the hot sun... One or another, the skin colour is a personal choice like the hairstyle and the clothes! ^^

  • my skin color is hers when its not ghostly

when they flickr the lights off.

  • in some parts of the world its attractive to be tan and in others its attractive to be white. its not a big deal and it has nothing to do with racism

  • Comment removed

  • @hanhuna, it is a big deal

  • 1. bleachm only lightens the faces so it makes your skin patchy

    2. if you stop using it will result in skin becoming darker than before.

    3. it can lead to sunburn and skin cancer.

these are three reason not to use bleach cream

  • This is what I call a beauty rasicm.

  • Wow, she's pretty.

  • looks better with some colour

  • The lady in the commercial reminds me of my sister, who also has pale white skin with dark hair like that.

Anyways I think in most part of Asia they are obsessed with lighter skin, kind of like in America and Europe they are obsessed with thin, tanned, big boobs and flawless skin gals. I wouldn't bash on a culture that has ads like these when in fact my own culture has ads that belittles the elders. Women in my culture dye and bleach their hair just as women in Asia who bleach their skins.

  • whitening products are salable in southeast asian countries where number users are women and a few men. african women like to have lighter skin too.

  • she looks gorgeous with either dark or light skin. people are crazy!

  • God she's beautiful who ever she is. She looks half Eurasian. I don't think it's that practical to have white skin in a country where the sun is intense.

  • These people are completely revolting! Another truly disgusting example of the racist standard of beauty that we have all been indoctrinated with. Olay should be boycotted, just for making ads that uphold, support and give credence to these hideous ideals! Hopefully there will be some chemical reaction to the product and all of these people will wake up the next day as black as pitch, like they're from the Congo with warrior scars!...an irreversible blue black!

  • I hope you feel the same when it comes to Olays' anti-aging products, otherwise you're a hypocrite. :/

Whiting creams = racism, than for you anti-wrinkle creams = ageism.

Not attacking you in any way, just making you think deeper about the situation on the stuff women do to themselves to be accepted into society.

  • you're racist. are black people ugly? because that's wehat I understand from your last sentence

  • Filipino women and other southeast asian women are crazy about whitening products! they're the number one users in the world! most filipino women go for skin whitening, they would be extremely happy when they get white skin! some women don't want to expose their skin under the sun. you will see them under the shade of a tree even on beaches! (those women who already have light/fair skin) and some women who dont wanna get dark skin even they're somewhat dark.

  • 9. India (mostly women & some men)

    10. Bangladesh (mostly women & a few men)

The Philippines - mostly actresses and actors have light skin because they want it that way because they think it's an advantage over the general population that have dark skin. Women who think they are pretty they want their skin to be lighter, they start buying whitening products such as soap, cremes, lotion, etc. and avoid to expose their skin under the sun. having light/fair skin has a good status in the society.

  • mostly asian people want their skin to be whiten by these whitening products everywhere! here is the list of countries who don't like dark skin:

    1. the Philippines (mostly women & some men)

    2. Indonesia(mostly women & some men)

    3. Thailand (mostly women & more men)

    4. Malaysia (mostly women & some men)

    5. Cambodia (women & a few men)

    6. Brunei & Singapore (women & some men)

    7. Some African countries (women)

    8. Some South American countries (a few women & men)

  • :)) good job...tnx

  • be happy and contented with your skin color lol

  • Lol: One should try to lighten their skin in the winter, then go tanning in the summer! That would be a FUNNY sight:P black and white..you get both sides:D

  • calling these people chinks are efffing Dumb. They're obviously Eurasians! FYI...people of mixed caucasian and asian blood. Get it right & Get educated! SO DUUhhhhhhh, they're already naturally friggin' fairskinned so it's not like they're doing anything too drastic like Michael J.

But you got a point about asian culture being loco whent it comes to skin lightening.

  • She is pretty!! The guy is handsome. Nice ad!!

  • I love white skin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It gives that classical look and it's so beautiful!

  • Wow your fucking sad, probably uneducated.

  • As matter a fact I have two Bachelor Degrees and I am currently working on my M.S. This is my opinion, so respect it! I love that white skin color, but it doesn't mean I don't apreciate other complexions! There are a lot of people that rock different skin colors. You're probably not light skinned,I'm guessing. Oh by the way Betch....when you said "wow your f****** sad...." the "your" in this case should be spelled out "you're"! So the only uneducated person here is you!

  • Wow she didnt even needed to get lighter.

  • can we buy this in america?

  • Yeah this is truly sad!!! so very ridiculous. whitening skin products should be banned!!! its so disgusting and degrading!!!!

  • too bad you can't love your self for who you are.

  • dont worry people. shesh lol. these whitenings are only for blemishes and dark spots and un even skin tone its not like this stuff is what micheal jackson used.

  • yeah right didn't you just see her get 5 shades whiter?

  • thats her natural shade the one she was born with.

  • The shade that you're born with isn't the shade that you are meant to be. Our skin darkens to it's real shade. Please stop justifying this commercial it is sick. Asians, Africans, Indians, Hispanic, and Mediterranean peoples need to embrace the color of our skin. It is beautiful. We need to stop trying to whiten it. This is dangerous for your and your skin's health. Do your research.

  • these chinks are crazy, they want to become european so desperate lmfao!

  • calling these people chinks are efffing Dumb. They're obviously Eurasians! FYI...people of mixed European (caucasian) and asian blood. Get it right & Get educated! SO DUUhhhhhhh, they're already naturally friggin' fairskinned so it's not like they're doing anything too drastic like Michael J.

But you got a point about asian culture being loco whent it comes to skin lightening.

  • she looked way hotter tanned

  • she looked a whole better when shes not as white as a ghost!

  • This is soo sad.
