Very cool! I went to high school in NZ (Rangiora) found the Maori kids there generally very respectful to a small English Pakeha. Had plenty of problems with some of the other Pakehas though! Saw what happened when a white kid pushed around a smaller Maori kid ...BIG mistake! Great, strong & justifiably strong& healthy culture.

He's kinda rough looking, like he's had a hard life and keeps to himself a lot...but when he speaks ^_^ omgomg it's so CUTE! XD I love his accent lol. But I love how people still keep to their culture during times like these <3 and I love learning about other cultures as well. Ever since I watched Whale Rider I've been obsessed with Maori Haka!

This haka sucks... Lacks convition. Surprisingly, I've seen an excellent and very impressive haka at Port Aventura Barcelona... This was really impressive and convicting... Made me feel how this could be impressive for opponent warriors.

I went to Mitai Village while I was in Rotorua. Fantastic performance. Enjoyed every bit of it. I remembered the Chief wore a fur cloak.
