Another thing that enabled me to have a more realistic view of Jim Morrison was when I discovered Lou Reed and Velvet Underground and it occurred to me that THAT was what Morrison was trying to be like.

Jim was not limited by the whole band...Krieger was average, i agree. Densmore was pretty good. Manzarek kicks ass. I love Manzarek almost as much as Jim.
