Strikes me as so...child-like. I think I would have accepted this relationship more if there were actually some acknowledgment of John Scott having existed (add to that, Olivia acted far differently with him than with Peter in this).
if you look at the papels of Olivia, you can see that there are different views and there is an error there, the page is run and when the focus no longer is.
