Only thing I thought I hated about the iPad and didn't want to buy it was because if you try to play a game made for iPod touch or iPhone on it, it would not adapt to the resolution.

If this isn't the case, Not sure if it is or not never tried, just thought thats how it would be, all blurry because their made for Ipods*

but the new one is a dual core. I don't think the old one was. and it is not all about the GHz (MHz). there are other things to consider like the front side bus and the cache size. still for gaming I will probably just wait for the NGP (sony PSP2). but these are amazing graphics (and If the ipad 2 can do this, I can only imagine what developers will be able to get out of something like the NGP) I wish they optimized PC (windows and Mac) games this much..

Sure looks more like 1ghz.

Also note, ANY modern CPU, be it desktop or mobile, typically dynamically alters it operational frequency constantly. It isn't always running at 1ghz, it simply changes the clock multiplier to run that fast as needed.

There is always a cap for everything and also there is always a range.

Ipad 2 ranges from as little as 50mhz up to 800-900mhz and also capped up to 900mhz not 1ghz.

Being honest with you, I don't give a fuck any more, I need a tablet to help me with my med school and my med books and Ipad 2 or even Ipad is the answer and I'm gonna buy it. Xoom is good and it's better than Ipad to when it comes to numbers showing it's processor and ram but at the end it has no apps.

Xoom costs too much imo, and the Market is still far behind the App store, so I agree there. The Xoom may have better specs, but Android holds it back.

At the end, it's not really important if it's true or not, what is important is what we like to have and damn right, bloody Xoom is so expensive and I blame apple for that.

Apple could get away with a high price because it gives us a lot of apps but Xoom only provides 37 lol.

Hopefully next year we can see apple with quad cores and a better camera (1080p) and I promise I wouldn't even try to compare again :D, Retina display would also be really nice :D.
