hi again balletnut - i just woke up! yes, the 'l'apres midi'ballet - yes, it's much better - this one seems so insipid, i agree. i don't know who the faun or the maidens are or what company is involved - one of the problems with this doco is that things are not referenced - :< i can only say the faun was not me and the maidens not my sisters and it was not a home production!
hi Bnesque - yes, i often wonder how the original looked in terms of movement - i suspect something like here - slow and neurasthenic, with all those odd positions of the feet and greek vase like presentation of the figure. i agree the interview are the best part of this doco. best

Though interviews are great but I wish the the movement in hte presentation of "L'Après-midi d'un Faune" would be a bit more catatonic.
