Praise be to the decade that gave us Christian slater and New Model Army The two best things to come out of the 80's.....given an ultimatum though it would have to be New Model Army
HAHAHAHA, what in the fuck is this?! Even funnier, all the people who are nostalgic for this shit. Everything was not cooler in the 80's, and definitely not sexier.
Dude, the skate punk scene in the 80's was awsome! All my favorite punk bands came out in the 80's, now we got this fucking emo shit and sell out bands! There are still some good underground punk bands, monster trux for example a punk band that has skateboard gutars!!
Silly movie, but I enjoyed it for two reasons: the actress who played Tina Trac was stunningly beautiful, and the final chase scene is one of the best action sequences filmed that decade.
who said Rodney Mullen didnt invent skateboarding tricks that are being done now? r u crazy? Mr Mullen is god on a skateboard! thank him for every flip trick out..
@blingblingshineshine the title doesnt actually mean anything. it's literally a jibberish phrase some skater rambled off when he was drunk doing an interview with Thrasher magazine.
please youtube 'the bike heist teaser' tell your friends, it is a film about bicycles and friendship. It should be funny and we need the support. Thanks so much
@fakeknife87 Yea, rodney mullin is the greatest skate boarder to ever live...he invented 90% of all the tricks used today. He is the original true street skater.
@TheGreenPlague what he was a flatland skater he wasnt very good at many tricks and creating 90% of moves is just not true many tricks there are now wernt even thought of then and he admits he isnt so hot on many tricks specialy on a half pipe hes the father of flat land a bad ass but that other stuff youre talking about is just bs
@champwagner basically all modern tricks are variations of his original ones. Don't school me on Rodney son. I'm too old for it. Even air based tricks.
He's a modest person in reality, of course he wouldnt accept responsibility...That's cause he's a class act, and the god father, whatever "new school" tricks you're thinking of, trace the roots first.
Wow you have know idea what your talking about. did you read an interview on rodney so you know all about him. Try talking to him about his skating. Most tricks are linked back to him. He paved the way for both street and modern vert. Many vert skaters said they took from rodney and put to the ramp. Everything has already been done at some point. Watch old hstreet or powell vids. And it all comes back to mullen
This was such an awful movie. I cannot believe I liked it so much. Well, I was 12 years old then and tastes evolve. It is one of those movies that are so bad, it's good.
Many people seem to forget how GOOD bad movies can be. Some bad movies are horrible and unwatchable Other bad movies are awesome and fun to laugh at like this one , Killer Klowns From Outerspace, and especially Back To The Beach. Check that spoof out if you havent already. Although Back To The Beach was actually made goofy on purpose, like an Airplane movie.
and then one day his brother died. pffffffffft hahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! that was terrible! and the plot as explained in the trailer is pretty fucked up too. wow this is laughably bad...fucking christian slater...
@neverwasapunk16 Gleaming The Cube was an 80s movie that had 80s skateboard designs.
But stuff was still cool up to the early 90s and stopped right around 1994. After that everything started to just mush together in a bigol boring grunge haze. You couldn't walk into a store anymore and see color, everything was burnt colors or vomit brown plaid.
I loved it! I still wonder how he could ollie that high with a board made of steel and without having a griptape! The title is "Rebellen auf Skateboards" = "rebels on skateboards" in Germany :-D
The best part of this movie was Natas' ollie into the back of a truck.
And it was pretty funny seeing Tony Hawk try to act. That's about all I remember from this piece of crap. Oh! and the theme music! Sucked at the time but awesome in retrospect.
Haha what a lame trailer. I love it! 80s and 90s movies like this rule. Slater looks so young and this was AFTER Heathers?! That's what it says in the intro but I don't remember him looking that young in heathers.
watched this with my boyfriend, we laughed through the whole thing. this trailer sucks ass, but the movie is good for a laugh when you have nothing else to do. haha
