IF you ever intend for ANYONE to notice your designs, you will NEED to develop simpler, more aesthetically pleasing designs made from more resilient materials than wood and banding steel.
Again, 8020 dot net will provide you with all the materials needed for a SUCCESSFUL system, one that doesn't look like a cobbled together piece of garbage.
I will not ever tell you this again, I'm done wasting time on you. This is the absolute BEST advise you will ever receive: GO TO- 8020 dot net! GO THERE!
@kenny474 you are one of the 61thousand, seven hundred and forty six who have viewed this site. macduff suggests you visit 8020 dot net purchase 8020 channels and other materials, design and construct your ideas to prevent the dangerous kick-back on the OJJ and macduff will display them or it on his web site for free. now pog ma thoin
Between that, and the other projects I am working on right now, I just don't have the time to design anything for anyone else.
I can however, send you some pictures of my over-arm guard with dust-collection I designed and built several years ago, as well as the splitter system I designed for my saw, though I prefer the pictures be used for your own viewing to get ideas from, as I may eventually sell plans for a slightly revised system of similar design.
Right now I'm working on finalizing a set of plans (in both Google SketchUp and drawn) for a project made from 80/20 products which will be sold on my web-site in both plan form and as a kit.
Sorry, but I don't want to disclose what it is on YouTube, but I will give you a link once it's completed, which should be within the next few weeks.
All I'll say about it, is that it is designed and performs as well as a machine costing over $2k, while mine can be built for only a few hundred $.
I do wish you all luck, and I only say what I do as I want to see another small outfit succeed.
I know it likely sounds harsh, but trust me, what I have seen posted elsewhere is much worse.
And like I have said before, the OJJ was an AWESOME idea! Truly was. The attachments, not so much. BUT they could be. And that is why I try to make you see the light.
And views, my friend, mean little. Sales, however, make the world go round.....
I've told you before, get rid of the half-assed CRAP you have bolted, screwed, nailed and glued to every possible spot of this poor saw and develop a simpler, easier to use, better looking, and more functional system!!!
80/20 sells nice aluminum extrusions and a ton of different brackets, linear bearings, fittings, and all the other necessary items to develop a much better system. Go to their site, talk to someone and order the stuff you need! And get rid of this monstrosity!
@vincent7520 no it's a freebie, being a carpenter joiner cabinetmaker, macduff makes proto units out of "wood'" as for the music simply use the mute button that what it is there for. macduff the albannach
